Your Queens Park Rangers v Hull City Match Reports

Dreadful first half, but much better second 45. Passing was laboured and the match had the feel of a meaningless end of season fixture in the first half. Rs had more of the possession but didn't seem interested in doing much with it until Hull took the lead. Playing Willock at wing back unsurprisingly deprived us of our best attacking player, although he played ok and had a couple of good runs. Sadly Amos couldn't provide an attacking spark.

In the second half Field and Hendrick, in particular, played further forward and with more aggression. It was probably Field's most attacking performance for us. We dominated the game after the interval but didn't trouble Ingram much until he ended up looking in a very bad way after clattering into Albert and the post. It looked grim, so hope he's going to be ok.

Charlie probably stayed on too long although it was one of his better showings without finding clear cut chances. When Willock was moved forward, Odubajo coming on as wing back, we looked much better. Worryingly Willock took a knock and seemed to have difficulty moving in the final seconds.

I think we deserved to get a second for the pressure and sharper passing, and there were signs of improvement after recent poor showings, but the run of disappointing results continues. Field my MotM.

Reasonable performance overall, Adomah’s goal is given and we all go home satisfied after a dominant second half.
