A couple of things that stick out:
Defending against attacks down the wings: Weak - Bowler and Rogers to start.
Defending counter attacks: Very Weak - Sit back, soak it up and have some pace available as an outlet (Hamilton) + a back 3 / 5 is a classic unadventurous counter attacking set up.
Attack through the middle: 2 strong sitting midfielders (Dougall and Connolly).

This can morph i,to a 4-4-1-1 if necessary. If Hamilton is up to the job, I can see the intelligence behind converting him into this new wingback role - allows for flexibility.
