Will be interesting the next time we do get Clattenburg officiating for us though - no doubt he will be laughing his head off at us (and who'd blame him) Just need to make sure we don't give him reason to find things to go against us

Unfortunately you're right. Someone at the club has decided to make a big deal of this. Should have just stfu and got on with it. I will say that I seriously doubt it was lallana's idea.

There are ways of saying things politely that mean go fxxx yourself This clip shows a classic and it makes me laugh if you are in a hurry move it on to 1.21 and it's 30 secs long

Unfortunately we have a very arrogant/petulant chairman, so things like this an the AL saga are going to happen a lot. But he wins us games so apparently it does not matter.
Sometime people don't want to hear the truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed.
Similar criticism of Saints on Five live last night, with the comment being that no club should be able to avoid having a particular referee as it would set a precedent. Presumably just a coincidence that Everton managed to avoid Clattenburg for 5 years?

I agree. I do not understand why we have seemingly gone public on this. I am not making judgement whether the complaint is appropriate or not (though it does seem soft!) but I don't think it puts us in a good light PR wise and I do think it is a lame effort to deflect from some of the problems we are having from the playing perspective. No doubt Clattenburg had a poor game and decisions seemed to favour Everton and I do suspect some of that was to placate Everton but this just seems a bit tit for tat.

Was. By his own admission he'd previously lived on a diet of burger and chips 3 times a week. He credits Alan Pardew with turning that around, training and living properly, and basically prolonging his career.
