The reason it's a mockery is because the likes of Chelsea can loan out a player to a side that won't win the league, but can influence the table. If lukaku scores against man city/arsenal/Southampton etc, then it can affect these teams chances of the title/top 4. [Post edited 30 Dec 2013 16:24]

So, basically wormy pointed out (quite fairly) that we (SFC) had loaned a player to Palace. You then pointed out that the OP was intended to discuss loans from Prem to Prem, thus implying that Wormy was mistaken because Palace were not in the Prem..... Which in fact they are.
