Raw confidence of McManaman on the wing was impressive last season for Wigan & not afraid to have a shot. Jelavic if available, doubt it after last weekend but who knows, if you dont ask you dont get.

If we get a fully fit squad, and now Bony, Routledge, Canas and Shelvey have upped their game, do we really need anyone?
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Yes. We still need a quality left winger. Better backup for Bony than Vasquez or an out of position Michu would be nice too.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

That's the issue....the way that we are continually getting injuries means that we cannot rely on everyone being fit and as a result we have to go and strengthen at least up top

Danish press says that Ole Gunnar Solskjær hires the Dane René Skovdahl as a fitness and conditioning coach / analyst: http://www.bt.dk/fodbold/skovdahl-bliver-assistent-for-solskjaer-i-cardiff René Skovdahl just happens to be Michael Laudrup's cousin and was also a former fitness and conditioning coach at Brøndby while Laudrup was their manager. Later he was promoted to assistant manager at Brøndby.

René Skovdahl has just worked for 2 years as assistant manager under Ole Gunnar Solskjær at Molde before Skovdahl decided to leave at the end of the Norwegian season that just ended, because he wanted to go back home to his family in Denmark. But OGS has now asked him to join him again at Cardiff whih he couldn't turn down. So maybe it helps he already has family in Southern Wales...

René Skovdahl is the son of former manager Ebbe Skovdahl who is the brother of Michael Laudrup's mother. Ebbe Skovdahl used to play with Michael's father Finn Laudrup. Ebbe Skovdahl has managed Benfica, Aberdeen and Danish clubs Brøndby and Vejle among others. At Benfica he had the all time great player Eusebio who just passed away yesterday as one of his assistant coaches.

Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup linked with Benfica winger Ola John
SWANSEA City are being linked with a January move for Benfica winger Ola John.
The 21-year-old Dutchman, who has been capped once by his country, is tipped to leave on loan this month having struggled to nail down a place in the Benfica side.
And sources in Holland suggest Swansea and Liverpool are both interested in John's signature - but that Ajax are favourites to land the former FC Twente man.
John, who is the younger brother of former Fulham forward Collins, joined Benfica for nine million euro in the summer of 2012 having made his name at Twente.
He impressed at times for the Portuguese giants last season, but has had only limited game-time so far this term.
John signed a five-year deal when he joined Benfica and his contract reportedly includes a 45 million euro release clause.
Looks good on paper. Can't he afford a 5p placcy bag to put that towel in?
If you can fill the unforgiving minute.
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

25 % probability Tomás Rincón to Swansea? Fulham, West Ham, Swansea and Aston Villa are among a number of clubs chasing a cut-price January move for Hamburg star Tomas Rincon.
The Venezuelan, who can play in midfield or at right-back, is out of contract at the end of the season and has rejected Hamburg's latest offer of a new deal.
And the German side are prepared to accept a fee of under £1m rather than lose Rincon for free in the summer - and the 25-year-old wants to move to the Premier League.
