Gazza's best game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 17:52 - Dec 26 with 1100 views | dirk_doone | It's great for his confidence. I'd definitely rather see him in the team than Davis. But, the whole defence revolves around Fonte. When he's not there, the defence collapses and the goalkeeper is put in trouble. Thank God he's back. The combination of Rodriguez, Lambert & Lallana looks full of goals, which is very promising for the rest of the season. They've got 19 between them already. [Post edited 26 Dec 2013 17:56]

Gazza's best game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 17:55 - Dec 26 with 1086 views | kingslandstand1 | Heard a bit on Solent and that was a bit of a rough patch for him in a goal mouth scramble, but did he get better protection from the back 4? Merrington was saying that they should do and also to give him a few slaps on the back when he deserved it. Sounds like it worked! Great boost for him as well getting a start cos I see Kelvin was on the bench, but somehow Jos seems out of it now
Gazza's best game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 17:55 - Dec 26 with 1087 views | Iceberg | said it before, will say it again: he will become a top-top keeper. He was much improved today, still not perfect, but much stronger. This spell in the team will do him no end of good.

Gazza's best game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 18:04 - Dec 26 with 1061 views | grumpy | He's only 21,stands 6ft 5in and is slowly improving with confidence. Always makes me smile that he was born in a place called Murphy in Argentina. He was voted young player of the year at Gillingham before joining us, given time and encouragement we could have a very good keeper to compete with Boruc. [Post edited 26 Dec 2013 18:05]

Gazza's best game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 09:23 - Dec 27 with 776 views | lockseaf77 | Against a Cardiff team that have been seeing the media reports concerning unrest and doubts about the management. However the previous game was against a team and new manager with something to try and prove to the owners.
Gazza's best game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 09:54 - Dec 27 with 760 views | Del_Bianco | I keep reading on mongboards that Gazza was outstanding and made a number of saves yet the BBC and Sky report says Cardiff didn't have a shot on target. Did he actually make the saves or or is it more people seeing what they hope happened?

Gazza's best game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 10:02 - Dec 27 with 748 views | redblooded | One good save was counted as off side so didn't count another was a ricochet, the others were crosses he held or punched. There will always be critics but a keeper can do no more than keep a clean sheet which Gazza did to his credit. He has taken a lot of stick, so let's give him so praise. Even the Saints fans were singing his name, not sure of the song though " he saves when he wants"?

Gazza's best game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on 10:15 - Dec 27 with 740 views | Del_Bianco | And that's a fair point, it's just seemed a bit Strange that people were lavishing praise on him and that didn't tie in with what I read on the media reports and on MOTD. I wasn't there so don't know, sometimes though people so see what they want to and not what actually happened. For example Nick praised Gazza for staying strong from the cross he dealt with but Having just seen it on MOTD it looks to me like he caused half the problem by punching the ball straight up in the air in the first place. I'm not sure he'd have been so generous If that had been Kelvin Davis. Fair play to th lad though, he did what he had to do and hopefully the clean sheet will give him confidence.
