No real complaints. Some outstanding performances from Canas, Davies, Williams and Shelvey and a nice cameo from Lamah who will surely start against Chelsea instead of the severely under par Routledge.
Our first half woes continue though. We didnt register a shot on target. But the last 30 mins was much better in an attacking sense. We fluked the goal but we had our chances with Pablo and Lamah forcing great saves and also should have equalised at the end but Vasquez took his eye off it.

Vasquez today showed he will have great difficulty making it at this level. Pulled out of everything.
Striker / forward, Bring back KI and as much as I've called for GT to be in goal he should have saved both shots today. Both from a distance second set the wall up and then moved away from his danger zone. | |

I would think our 2 central midfielders would improve a lot
if we had Ki and Canas playing together and concentrating on the defensive and making only short passes.
I regard De Guzman as offensive player who usually are out muscled and today by Barkley his not physically strong enough as a battling central midfielder. | |

As a huge fan of Ben I have to say he has defended better. But again with Routledge ahead of him trying to make things happen, JdG ahead and centre of him going AWOL he was often having to decide which of three players to go up against. | |
