Not good enough 18:04 - Oct 26 with 5719 views | macclesfieldman | I think I'm level headed and this is not a reaction to today. Harry and the team have punched above our weight so far this season. Most of our games have been against teams in the bottom half of the league and yet we have consistently rode our luck to get 1-0 wins. When Harry has to sign players that no-one else wants to fill the squad out, our 2 center halves are 70 between them and we have 1 fit decent striker it should not come as a surprise if we struggle to stay at the top over a 46 game season. The cracks are appearing now, 1 point from 6 and 4 goals conceded. The bright spots for me is the form of Green, Dunne, Hill, Simpson & Barton but 5 players wont get us promoted.

Not good enough on 13:00 - Oct 27 with 1546 views | qprewan | Excellent analysis which I cant really fault, especially in relation to Austin-"he scores goals he doesn't make them". In recent games Austin has worked his socks off but is effectively feeding on scraps; as I see it we are still not creating enough chances. Yesterday we had a lot of possession in our own half but we struggle to replicate it further up the pitch. I agree thatwe should play another striker alongside Charlie but then where do we play Nico who I have to say was a bit of a luxury in yesterday's game. At the end of the day Burnley beat us due to their admirable fitness levels and their constant chasing down of our players and good luck to them. One Burnley fan I spoke to said that HR should be shot if he can't take us up with the squad that he has got and I suspect that is the view of everyone else in the league too- like it or not we are viewed by others as the man utd of this division. We are still a very good team but we still need to learn lessons from the last two games- namely that we can not just rely on edging through games due to our natursl superiority both Millwall and Burnley have shown that if you get after us we are vulnerable. Other teams will have noted this- yes we have had a great start but we now need to up our game and respond imo as if we continue with our essentially conservative way of playing alongside the deffinite whiff of complacency that has set in thenwe could easily see us slipping into the play off spots rater than the automatic places. I know nany of us would have taken this at the start of the season but if we adapt I still believe we should be top two.
Not good enough on 15:49 - Oct 27 with 1495 views | macclesfieldman | Essex Taxi boy, go f@@k yourself. My first game was 1975, I've been to 907 R's games in 3 Divisions. I think Harry has done a great job this season but having to rely on signings like Henry, O Neill, loans and out of contract players then it is expecting too much for us to challenge over 46 games which is why I posted "not good enough". Harry needs backing and he will take us up.

Not good enough on 16:36 - Oct 27 with 1484 views | DubaiR | It's a tough one. I don't think we have played that well this season we have had spells in games but never a prolonged period, yet we have had more possession than any other team in every game. We have spent more money than any other championship side, yes some lower profile players but we also spent the best part of 10m of Austin and Phillips, we are paying Niko's wages who will be on a fair amount. The start of the season has been better than most expected with teams normally suffering a hangover from such a bad season before so from that aspect it's a great start to the season. However I think we have to attack more, we have to go to win games as we have seen a lot of teams will sit men behind the ball as we are seen as a major scalp in this league given the squad we have.
Not good enough on 18:09 - Oct 27 with 1443 views | TacticalR | Yes, the whole point about our season is that up to now we've played not very well and won, and now we've played not very well and lost.

Not good enough on 18:17 - Oct 27 with 1430 views | themodfather | we rode our luck at yeovil....we have had a great start to our season and ok, we have slipped to 3rd..we can amend that with a win on weds, but wigan is not usually a happy hunting ground. i'd rather be 3rd now, than be mid table, worrying about the gap to the drop zone!!

Not good enough on 22:07 - Oct 27 with 1331 views | Lblock | Aussie Claret..... Bang on! Do you fancy a job on the coaching staff??? For all the "money bags QPR" I think it's been patently obvious we've been scraping by on cast off decent experience players. We are short in two key areas which is striker and attacking centre mid. Plus we're possibly light of pace at the back I feared for us before Harry's rebuilding programme, then very pleased at hitting the ground running and would be very pleased with the play offs. Still of that opinion but if we're still top 4 in Jan then TF may add in these areas

Not good enough on 06:17 - Oct 29 with 1236 views | Loft1979 | Again. Nice post but not 'spot on'. Two points: these cast offs are premier league cast offs. BAE, Simpson and Dunne could well be playing for QPR in the prem next year. So should Nico, JB and even Green. Hoilet-had a bad game? Had a typical game? Solution- play him behind Austin? Frankly I thought Nico was to be the Left midfielder. That said, I think the team is better when Faurlin plays. JR simply does not pass well enough, nor cross well. Faurlin fits better in a pass and move model that we have seen already this year. addressing the idea we are short in two areas: I like the two striker idea. But instead of Hoilet as an attacker, I think we should try Chevy (if AJ is not available). Again, I like Hoilet as a late game option. attacking midfielder: is Joey and Nico. JB is getting caught too deep which nullifies his game. We know JB and Ale are the best ball distributors we have.
Not good enough on 08:51 - Oct 29 with 1202 views | WestbourneR | Love Faurlin but he would have been absolutely mobbed by that Burnley midfield. He hasn't got quick feet.

Not good enough on 09:58 - Oct 29 with 1185 views | simmo | Just because we have made a good start RESULTS wise doesnt mean Redknapp is infallible. IMO he has made very poor tactical decisions in games recently, especially with his subs and his insistance on playing certain people such as Jenas is becoming a bit of a joke. It doesnt help my love for him when we have been flattering to deceive on the pitch and he spends the intl break all over the Jonathan Ross and One show plugging his book to death. None of these things mean I do not support him or agree he has done very well in certain areas since we were relegated, but we should still be allowed to highlight certain justified critisicms without being labelled Harry haters or being accused of enjoying our recent success 'through gritted teeth'.
