Gaston on his way out? on 21:35 - Oct 13 with 3108 views | UTS | He might do the odd good thing and score some goals, but hes not a PL player from what i have seen. His comments about wages before he arrived said a lot and hes got money mercenary written all over him.

Gaston on his way out? on 21:41 - Oct 13 with 3097 views | A1079 | Completely bored and fed up with him. Wish he would just go. His attitude has not been great since he arrived.
Gaston on his way out? on 21:50 - Oct 13 with 3086 views | grumpy | Spent a lot of money on him. Like to see him come good to be honest.
Gaston on his way out? on 22:17 - Oct 13 with 3059 views | saint22 | He clearly won't though, how much time does a man need? Osvaldo is yet to do anything spectacular by the loos interested and puts himself about whereas Gaston...well just doesn't We will be lucky to get half what we paid for him tho
Gaston on his way out? on 22:19 - Oct 13 with 3054 views | kingkenny | You want him to do something spectacular by the loos? Interesting.
Gaston on his way out? on 23:02 - Oct 13 with 3017 views | sfc1971 | I don't think He (Gashton) wanted to come here from the start the whole thing was a farce. We paid what his Club/Agent wanted he moved regardless of his preferred choice. another Delgado happy to take the wages not bothered about the TEAM!! Get rid...

Gaston on his way out? on 06:19 - Oct 14 with 2935 views | SaintDownUnder | I dont think there's any daylight between MoPo and Cortese so he'll have to find a way to deal with MoPo. I cant imaging Cortese would tollerate loosing heavily on a transfer out either. Ive heard MoPos training style is brutal (players have talked about needing a 3rd lung) maybe this isnt to Gastons taste......he'll have to suck it up though.
Gaston on his way out? on 07:04 - Oct 14 with 2918 views | st_bangkok | I am confused as we have been constantly told by those superior to us on another forum that Gaston will come good? Will he or won't he?

Gaston on his way out? on 09:34 - Oct 14 with 2834 views | SPARTACUS | I'm not sure anyone said he'll come good, those that support him (like myself) already think he is good! Since he's been here he's our 3rd top scorer and when he's on the pitch we score goals... I hope the issues can be worked out because he's absolutely the best footballer we've got. That said, when it gets to agents slagging off managers for you in the press it doesn't look good and if he's going to disrupt us he needs to be shipped out and replaced - get Mata in [Post edited 14 Oct 2013 9:35]

Gaston on his way out? on 09:48 - Oct 14 with 2815 views | 1teeminants | Gaston needs to get his arse in gear and prove his worth, when he is called upon he does nothing to force his way in the first team. Those that went to the Bristol City game were expecting great things from him, a chance to show what he can do but apart from a goal and a few runs and touches he didnt do much.

Gaston on his way out? on 09:54 - Oct 14 with 2809 views | Del_Bianco | I agree, i think hes a very good player just not suited to the way we play. He isn't the type to press and close like MP wants us too and also he does have a tendancy to give the ball away cheaply at times which with the way we play means we are suseptable to be caught on the counter attack with players high up the pitch. This seems to be why Davis and JWP are prefered at the moment, neither of them are as creative but they will close and play the ball simply, that might not make us as exciting to watch but it means we retain the ball. I cant see how he fits in with us, he seems to be way down the pecking order and even Guly is prefered at the moment. It was telling that v West Ham when it would appear the perfect game for him, we were domating poession but needing someone to creating something MP still didnt bring him on. Shame really as in patches he's been superb and if he could deliver week in week out he'd be fantastic to watch but i just dont see a future for him with us.

Gaston on his way out? on 10:06 - Oct 14 with 2787 views | 1teeminants | I know what you are saying in a way but as i have said before anyone that watches him play for Uruguay as i have done several times, will tell you he doesnt offer much there either, in fact he is often on their bench so all very wierd to me.

Gaston on his way out? on 11:05 - Oct 14 with 2748 views | Dystopia | Personally I think if we can get our 12m + what we've paid for his wages for him Nicola will let him go. If we can't, Nicola needs to have a word with Gaston and Maricio get them to settle their differences and tell Gaston make an effort. I think Gaston has shown glimpses of quality but is not consistent enough.
Gaston on his way out? on 11:48 - Oct 14 with 2721 views | SonicBoom | Well we've been happy to lose some substantial sums on other players that we've shipped out so who knows. I have to say that he is the sort of player I love BUT.. for some reason he cannot get into the team and stay there. If he was considered the best option MP would pick him. He's actually picking kids in front of him so what does that say. I said give him time but you have to start to wonder how much. He can't be THAT unfit still ? Also yes he may come good but when? Don't forget every week that clicks past is costing us a minimum of about 50K.
Gaston on his way out? on 12:08 - Oct 14 with 2705 views | UTS | He needs to score a dozen goals or set them up to justify his wages. That also is the case with Osvaldo, who i think shows his value already. We cannot borrow millions and spend it on players that dont produce. [Post edited 14 Oct 2013 12:08]

Gaston on his way out? on 16:27 - Oct 15 with 2565 views | Iceberg | he has a problem with MoPo because MoPo sees him for the underachiever he is and won't play him ahead of more determined, hard working comrades.
