Anti Virus software on 13:29 - Aug 6 with 5435 views | Davillin | I use Norton Anti-virus ["anti-everything," I forget exactly what it's called] on my p.c. It conflicts with my iMac programs. I've used Norton for a very long time and am completely sold on it. There's an annual subscription fee, which I'm glad to pay for the protection. You will need to update the protection from time to time, but the program notifies when your protection is out of date. I do it on a regular basis anyway.

Anti Virus software on 16:42 - Aug 6 with 5369 views | Laudrup | Like many other anti-virus companies AVG, makes both free and more advanced commercial editions. Looks like you have downloaded "AVG Internet Security 2013" which is a trial of some of their commercial software. Only download the "AVG AntiVirus FREE 2013" edition unless you want to pay after a trial period. Anti Virus software on 23:49 - Aug 6 with 5302 views | SwansNZ | AVG is a good one — I have it on my home PC. It scores near to or better, than the top paid ones (like Norton), in most tests I’ve seen The AVG AV is free as far as I know — maybe you downloaded the security suite?

Are the free ones secure enough if you use internet payments/banking etc?
