Why cant league two professional footballers not aquire the fitness levels of a Championship player ?

After another heavy defeat, he called the squad in for Sunday morning training. When the alloted time came, he allegedly rang them up, told them to get on with it as he was playing golf.

Precisely. One thing former and current players, and those with experience of Hilly's regime, always comment on is the level of fitness he insists on. It's evident when watching his sides play. Ince's comment is disrespectful to Hill and League 2 in general, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some response in the media from our side. However, having watched Grant amble round the pitch at Halifax for 70 minutes I wonder if maybe Grant wasn't giving his all in pre-season training?
