I wouldn't presume to second guess that he has..but it is an alternative.
Judging by Mauricios attempts to get a centre back he has little faith in either Jose, Jos or Yoshida.
Be interesting to see if we go for another central defender now.

Saw an article the other day about this and it speculated that Mauricio could even be thinking of playing only 3 defenders with a blanket of 3 defensive midfielders in front of them !!
