Its still all Keiths fault on 11:57 - Apr 17 with 5607 views | lurker | Looking at their remaining games they appear to be fooked and the penny has now dropped. Thus starts the blame game!
Its still all Keiths fault on 12:03 - Apr 17 with 5570 views | AtThePeake | "If Keith had gone in the summer we may have been able to get someone in who could have led us to a top half finish." Diluted.

Its still all Keiths fault on 14:10 - Apr 17 with 5365 views | dingdangblue | There's another post on the forum asking would they prefer Flicker in charge in lge 1 or stay in the Championship but no Flicker. Needless to say they nearly all say Championship! Idiots.

Its still all Keiths fault on 14:17 - Apr 17 with 5355 views | lurker | If there were an option for having Bobby Hassell in charge and playing in the Conference North they would go for it. This club gives Danny Wilson legendary status FFS
Its still all Keiths fault on 21:47 - Apr 17 with 5071 views | WhiteyBFC | He was manager of the club for 4 years, and in that time built a quality side on a shoestring budget, which took us to the Premier League. Of course he's a legend. What part of that is hard to fathom?
Its still all Keiths fault on 21:49 - Apr 17 with 5050 views | WhiteyBFC | I'd take Flitcroft and Championship status. And we've still got 3 games to guarantee that.

Its still all Keiths fault on 21:52 - Apr 17 with 5017 views | WhiteyBFC | Fooked how? We're a point off safety, with 9 to play for. Because of the quality of opposition?? This division doesn't take that into account too often. We beat Brighton, Watford and Leicester recently. Yet lost to Charlton and Wednesday. I'm happy we're playing 2 sides that 'on paper' should beat us. We perform better against such clubs. And I'll back us against Huddersfield if it comes down to a do or die finale.
Its still all Keiths fault on 21:53 - Apr 17 with 5008 views | lurker | Funny that! Keith Hill did something similar here but your lot seem to think he is shite whilst Wilson is on the dole having failed in L1 with a huge budget!
Its still all Keiths fault on 21:55 - Apr 17 with 4997 views | WhiteyBFC | Possibly. Or just enclosed in your own little bubble, with little experience of football in the upper regions. But don't worry, I'll be here in August should we go down, asking for travel advice etc, as we do a years tour of the nether regions.

Its still all Keiths fault on 22:04 - Apr 17 with 4930 views | Stockyhargreave | At least you've made it nice and clear why most people on here think your a bit of a c*ck Whitey. Youre on a League 2 teams messageboard most of the time so you shouldn't have too much of a problem adjusting to life below your ever so high and rightful place in the football pyramid. Its still all Keiths fault on 22:08 - Apr 17 with 4904 views | WhiteyBFC | I wouldn't equate our achievement in reaching the Premier League to your achievement in getting out of League Two. I'd have to stretch reality to do so. But it was a fine achievement, and Keith Hill has undoubtedly proven himself to be a cracking manager in the lower leagues. He's also shown to have a great eye for a talent. I thought, and indeed said at the time of his arrival, that he was THE man for Barnsley. And but for the January jinx of 2012, where his squad was decimated, the rug pulled from under him, things may have turned out more positively for him/us. However, I believe that had we continued to do well, he'd have jumped ship. The fact he applied for every Championship vacancy that came up, shows this. Even when going through the awful spell that ultimately saw him dismissed (3 games late) he was touting for other jobs. He fell out with the board in January 2012, the fans almost daily, and eventually with the players. He split the club he promised to unite. All in all, he failed. He won't be the first, or last 'up and coming young manager' to do so. But perhaps like Eddie Howe at Bournemouth, he's meant to be at one club...? Good luck to him and Dale. No bitterness from me. I don't blame him entirely for our 'possible' relegation. The board have been playing with fire for years. And certain players have let us down in that period, too. Not to mention the financial irregularities that make it almost impossible for clubs of our size to retain Championship status. Flitcroft has proven to be more likeable than Keith. He's united the club. And his results and football speak for themselves. Our form since he took over has been playoff form. I hope he's retained no matter where we are in August.

Its still all Keiths fault on 22:11 - Apr 17 with 4859 views | WhiteyBFC | I'm not the one getting all shirty about another club bad mouthing a manager that has been in charge of both clubs. If our most successful manager was appointed Dale boss, and subsequently led you to your worst ever calendar year, I'm pretty sure you lot would be pinning a fair portion of blame at his door. Simple economics.

Its still all Keiths fault on 22:15 - Apr 17 with 4812 views | WhiteyBFC | Was what he achieved at Oakwell a fluke then? If so, somebody ought to take that LMA award for manager of the year off him..

Its still all Keiths fault on 22:18 - Apr 17 with 4774 views | 442Dale | Time has passed him by. The year you won promotion you beat us in the League Cup and we had a new manager called Graham Barrow, back then he was thought to be a good manager too. Then the clock started ticking and the years rolled round.
