Conspiracy Theory or not? on 16:52 - Jan 19 with 1034 views | sl500x | i agree and think it is the way that the snake works and thinks .Nige and the teams point at Chelsea was probably the best point we got all season .. Rewarding Nige with the sack and now putting our whole season at risk and undermining team spirit team play and our biggest strength of sticking together and on point is now on shaky ground with a guy that cant speak English ... | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Conspiracy Theory or not? on 16:53 - Jan 19 with 1028 views | sl500x | yes Cortese did it and he shot kennedy too | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Conspiracy Theory or not? on 16:54 - Jan 19 with 1026 views | Scrooge | Actually, to follow on from this train of thought, I was thinking .. if Adkins didn't have any interference from Cortese/Reed/Southampton Way/433/Enforced Subs &Selections etc. would we not be a few places higher .. ? | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Conspiracy Theory or not? on 16:56 - Jan 19 with 1015 views | Boris_ | We might well be, I guess with that though, we could also say we could be a few places lower... we'll never know. I'll watch with interest how he does at his next job though.

Conspiracy Theory or not? on 16:58 - Jan 19 with 994 views | Boris_ | Out of interest, one day, when stories like this become public knowledge ( I imagine it will be within minutes of him boarding the plane back to Switzerland ) , will you be man enough to admit you were wrong. Quite a few people on here yesterday were man enough to admit some of us, including me, had a point and congratulated us on sticking to our guns, despite being shot down every time we spoke badly about Clotese. Will you?

Conspiracy Theory or not? on 17:01 - Jan 19 with 979 views | Del_Bianco | Nah, but what i do think happened was Cortese offered the job to the Argie before the Chelsea game, thinking after the cup game we'd get tonked again and the fans would accept it as some would be questioning Adkins like they did after every loss. Except it didn't work out like that. The timing of the whole thing is barmy. 3 days before an important home match when we have a weekend off next weekend. If he was going to do it why not get the Everton game out of the way and then give the new guy a week to get to know the players?

Conspiracy Theory or not? on 17:09 - Jan 19 with 938 views | Boris_ | Listen fatty ginger, stop showing off. You know where I drink before the game, come and join me you weirdo. Don't threaten things on here you won't back up in real life. Looks like I caught a fish though.

Conspiracy Theory or not? on 17:13 - Jan 19 with 921 views | kingslandstand1 | And then after we had beated Everton, which in itself would also be a hell of a result, the blades in those knives flying around would be even longer and this place would have erupted! I have not advocated the sacking at all and agree the timing was awful, but when is a good time to sack someone? I honestly think it's been on the cards for a while (must have been to have a replacment sat in the wings) and the results did not go as the italian had hoped which would have made it easier. No matter what, we have to get behind the team AND manager (St Michael won't obviously) and go for it. Players are not daft and will be playing for a place (it they are professional) and we may even see an improvement? Or of course it could all go totally tits up .................... Come on, united front and all that - results generally went our way today as well? | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Conspiracy Theory or not? on 17:17 - Jan 19 with 881 views | Boris_ | You're the one that made silly threats, I'm hardly going to come looking for you. Stop showing off on the internet, you've been outed as a fat frankie boyle who writes little stories, don't pretend to be otherwise.

Conspiracy Theory or not? on 17:19 - Jan 19 with 872 views | TheKraken | From what I've heard from a few different sources, we approached one particular manager at the start of the season and again a few days before Xmas. It sounds as if from Pinnochio himself that he's been lined up for a while, I guess we got so far down the line with bringing someone else in that the latest resurgence in results counted for nothing. I'm not convinced Adkins was the long term option for us; but he damn well deserved at least until the end of the season. The "right" time to bin him off was after 5 or 6 games of the season. The timing of this makes no sense, nor does the new man appointed either. A heavy defeat against Everton and it becomes a barmy decision; a win or a draw and I guess we move on (albeit feeling a bit of shame). | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Conspiracy Theory or not? on 17:19 - Jan 19 with 867 views | Capt_Koons | I wish people would stop saying 'we have to get behind the team and manager'. We don't HAVE to do jack sh1t, particularly if it endorses something we don't approve of.

Conspiracy Theory or not? on 17:35 - Jan 19 with 808 views | the_dune | Poor old Boris, being shot down on the internet all the time for his views. People are always shooting him down on the internet and it's so unfair. How many of you are man enough to tell Boris that he was right on the internet? Well done to Boris for sticking to his guns on the internet. | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Conspiracy Theory or not? on 17:36 - Jan 19 with 805 views | kingslandstand1 | You pays your money Capt, so you gets your choice, I respect that and that's up to you. At the moment the footballing world is behind the fans and not Cortese who has been man(d) enough to make a brave decision. All I'm saying is that we need to move on as nothing will change what happened yesterday - we'll be here long after Cortese and Pinnochio or whatever his name is, and I cannot see where doing a Chelsea fans stance will get us | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Conspiracy Theory or not? on 18:15 - Jan 19 with 744 views | Capt_Koons | That's another thing Kingsland, Cortese was NOT man enough to front up at the press conference. Even other loony chairmen like Ken Bates would have turned up at the press conference and said 'this is what I've done, this is what I believe, like it or fook off'. But not a peep from the Dwarf, had he locked himself away in his private loo?
