Man Of The Match? 21:48 - Jan 2 with 2280 viewsBrianMcCarthy

My vote is for Adel.

He's attitude's been great for long time now, and tonight he worked hard, took his knocks and displayed some lovely touches.

For all the hard work and fine displays further back the field, I thought Adel's contribution was the single biggest reason we won.

Adel closely followed by the rest even SWP for the 2nd half!

Poll: Remy - can he play in the playoffs - who's opening post is the best?

I loved the fact that nobody in the team seemed to panic during the whole 90 minutes. We didn't hoof it up to nobody, we played it out of defence when needed and looked for the long ball at other times. It's so basic, but something we have missed. Away from Adel and Nelson, I thought Fabio and Onuoha played a massive part in doing this, at last we saw both of them composed, in addition they even went forward when needed.

Adel, Nelson and SWP 2nd half (crap in 1st). Special mention to Granero actually too.

Probably why Granero played so much better. Derry and M'bia held things together well

Amazing that after all this the guy we needed (not to mention some luck and some other good performances but sshh) was Shaun Derry. Again!!

I actually thought Derry got turned a couple of times two easily.... But played well in patches.

Adel for me, followed by SWP and then Granero

Fabio for me. Moved to the LB position and consistently won the ball off the attackers. Taraabt a close second. He was very much his normal self - brilliant one moment, losing the ball instead of passing the next.

ADEL

ADEL

ADEL

In that order.
Simply awesome tonight

Thought Mbia was immense as well and lesser players would've hid after that leg breaker of a tackle 3 mins in (don't forget that when tormenting a scum fan tomorrow)

Biggest dissapointment got to be Toilet.
I do not accept proffessional sportsmen getting a hammy 13 minutes into a game
Unprepared. Unprofessional. Unfit

That aside I am loving it, loving it I tell you. Love Ing It

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I'd go with Adel, but everyone stood up tonight and I thought, in particular, Fabio had a great game

definitely Adel - maturity beyond his years tonight.
But what an all round performance..... Derry added class and solidity - easy things done simply....
the pressure was off tonight - everyone expected us to get a tonking.... we looked comfotable on the ball and did not panic.
granero added some class too - held the ball up well.
excellent performance.

Adel shaded it for me. Master stroke from Harry to play him up front. Held the line superbly. The touch for the goal was sheer class.
