Positivity thread on 10:57 - Nov 29 with 574 views | adhoc_qpr | Christ that's a positivity killer for me! Only 5 losses in your predictions and still just scraping 40 points...
Positivity thread on 10:59 - Nov 29 with 569 views | QPRski | It is logical and POSSIBLE (but certainly tough based on performace to date). Clearly we need to start to win, commencing this saturday, otherwise it will soon become close to impossible. I hope we can control the expectations and pressure.
Positivity thread on 11:03 - Nov 29 with 567 views | hoopstilidie | Beginning of the season I predicted mid-table and a decent cup run. I've revised my prediction to lower mid table and a decent cup run. We've started with a handicap which isn't insurmountable. People are too hung up on points numbers, it's not simply how many or how few points that dictate where you finish in the table, it's how many more or less you get than your opponents. We don't need to get 36, or 40 or 43 etc etc we need to get 1 more than 3 others. That is all. We can certainly do that. Mission Impossible? No, not even close.

Positivity thread on 12:13 - Nov 29 with 534 views | MerthyrHoop | In that case, convert the draws at Wigan, and at home to Fulham & Liverpool into wins and we can afford then to lose a further 11 games and still reach 40 points

Positivity thread on 12:57 - Nov 29 with 510 views | stansleftfoot | Not sure you are fully grasping the Positivity Nettle. It works on the basis not on the analysis of previous poor performance or even a perceived judgement of an understood reality. It works on the basis that this Club in the Premiership had a difficult run and overcame the negative effects of it by, luck, individual effort, moments of genius, more luck and finally, even more luck. This time we shall add to the luck, individual effort, moments of genius, hard work work, team effort, responsibility, and then we'll take our luck. All this can happen again, and simply put there's a statistical chance that 35/36/37 points will keep QPR up. Obviously the more points the better. So the POSITIVE COGENT argument is therefore we need perhaps as few as thirty 30 points from 24 games, doesn't matter how or when, but the sooner we get down to WORK, the sooner that target figure will drop. The problem becomes smaller not bigger, the opportunity becomes easier to grasp. We could do the double over Liverpool and Newcastle, interesting but not impossible, in which case we've a new target of 18 points from 20 games....now your talking....As Harry Redknapp will explain, all you can do in Football is win the next game.....lets get started on Saturday, Loftus Road DOES help!
Positivity thread on 13:07 - Nov 29 with 505 views | CamberleyR | After he took over at Spurs Harry averaged 1.63 points per game that season. Achieve that again with us and we end up with 40/41 points = comfortably avoiding relegation. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Positivity thread on 13:48 - Nov 29 with 463 views | stansleftfoot | Can this thread be made into a Sticky! It's reserved for ever, in perpetuity for POSITIVE input about QPR FC. There is no room for reserving opinion of a negative nature 'til a later date, there is no room for negative "told you so" comments. Any body can describe what has happened, it takes a positive person to see the great things that can happen. These " Told you So's " are negative and create a bad atmosphere from which very few positives can be taken. They appear smug in the face of failure, how about happy and looking forward to making things better next time. The thread looks forward to good things, and look backwards for good things....Its the POSITIVITY THREAD and is a step in a new direction.... " I recommend my budget to the house, say Hear Hear!
