typical... forked out for over £150 worth of fishing gear for him. Spent all day yesterday watching him race go karts round the track, followed by two hours of watching him riding his mini motor bike. Even helped him do his paper round yesterday and this morning..
Asked him to help me shopping this morning..nooooooooooo he'd sooner sit and watch Simpsons. Ask him to give me a hand to bring the shopping in.. no way
Then he wants me to miss the game to take him fishing in the wind and rain..
Yeah I am mean to say no

no, they would kick his arse the way he talks to me...
And no Baz he is still a Saints fan.. so he tells everyone, but I wonder if it's just to be diferent and a bit confrontational to all the Norwich and Ipswich fans up here.

He has already pampered to his every whim though. In the long run spoiling his son will not do his son any favours. Learning the value of money and that all the good things do not magic themselves out of thin air is probably the most important lesson there is.
I think you must have missed my "parental responsibility" bit. That encompasses what you say but fishing will be a chance to discuss such thinks. Better that sitting in front of a television/radio/internet
Anyway I suspect Patred is already fishing with his son :)

no, I have a link to the game, and there is always Dave on the Saintsplayer.
My son's fishing trip has been solved, one of my neighbours (a fishing fanactic) is taking him fishing. But I do have to guard on spoiling him too much.. Some of you on here know the background as to why he is with me rather than mum, so they will probably appreciate it is easy for me to over compensate.

But they grow so fast Pat so spend as much time as you can now. I do with my lad it seems only a short while ago we played Eastleigh Mini Football and now he is reffing u11-13s and playing under 16s at Romsey. I take him to games, coach his team and act as 'minder' when reffing.
I know your history and commend you for your parenting.

one of my ex girl friends was in that film, Jenny. You can see her she is in the red dress as they get off the coach!
We only went out a few times, but I meet her years later to find out she has 4 kids, works in Tesco's in High Wycombe. She only got paid £5 for two days work on the film.
here she is in the infamous exercise scene (on the left red circle)_

yes on 20 secs exactly..she is the one in a black one piece to the left of the girl in the black and white chequered bikini...at the back.. she has long black hair
