what i find amusing is the fact that here we are, rumoured to spend 7m on a player, and only 8 comments on this so far. i really hope the tony revolution doesn't mean we're already becoming desensitized to big spending (and how bleedin lucky we suddenly are). it wasn't very long ago that the merest rumour of a 35yr old premier reject or, dare i say it, a preston north end bench warming striker who couldn't hit a barn door, would provoke pages of excitement on this forum. | |

I think this would be a quality signing to replace Barton/Buzz.
The Hoilett deal seems to have gone away but if we can get Yueng to travel to sign it would be a real coup by what I have seen/been reading.
I think this lad & one more CB would be all thats needed in time for the start of the new season.
