First thoughts.
Home kit. Disappointed because I don't think 'The French Onion Seller' look is us.
Away kit. A definite improvement, but I don't like that white band. I would have preferred simple red because the shirt is already covered with the badge, lotto logo and Air Asia logo, and the white band overdoes it even more.
I don't think Lotto are always bad by the way. I liked the Lotto Gulf Air shirt:

Home top is pretty much as you were but for a rank over larged V Neck.
The Away top looks like a 10 year old has knocked it up on Pro Evo.
I don't get it. The Revenue on offer for a sellable Premielr League QPR kit has surely got it be worth doing a small amount of re-search, especially as we are meant to be branching our appeal to the far East?

What this news actually means is now instead of hearing "we look like Blackpool" like last year, my 50+ dad is now going to be saying "we look like Middlesbrough" instead next season. Can't wait.
And for anyone who thinks it will be better next season with all hooped shirts you forget the hoops have to be correct to the millimeter in thickness, can't have anything on the side or back to disrupt the hoops and can't be made by lotto. I think the point that Tony F was trying to make was that lotto has a 8 month lead time for bespoke kit which means they would have had to signed it off in November without knowing who the sponsors are or even what league we are so as to how much they should invest in design time.

I really don't want to criticise the club, and it may be that there wasn't a lot of choice for them given what's been said about Lotto, but those are two really poor shirts. I haven't bought a replica for a few years now, whenever I need a new one I just go straight to the retro range because at least they are recognisably QPR shirts. | | | |

Hate the neck....seems so often the necks of kits are terrible.

I've bought one every year for years and years, apart from when we (usually) sellout, and wear it with huge pride every time i play 5/6/7 a side or when i'm training or at the gym. If we win, i'll wear it in the supermarket occasionally. I have one on right now as i'm typing. I love wearing it indoors.
I think it's being a victim of fashion to say "i wouldn't wear a football shirt, that's not cool". Wear what you want, not what you're mates tell you to wear. That said, obviously don't wear it too often :-)
I truly cherish my collection of Rangers shirts.
Perhaps because i live in a place where you would never, ever, ever see a QPR shirt, i like to offer a presence for the foreigners to see. The world needs to know who we are.
They know now.

I said it on a previous post about new kits that I would hate us to wear an all-red kit because of my life-long history of hatred towards teams that wear all red.
Born hating Independiente (Agüero's maiden club, nicknamed Red Devils), grew up hating ManUtd and Liverpool. I couldn't think of a team wearing all-red that I don't hate. Maybe the Belgium national side. I don't mind them at all. Or Spain in recent years because I like how they play but they're not too close to my heart either.
So there you go. That's why I don't like the away kit.
But I won't hold it against Tony or the board. They are doing such a wonderful job and they are making us all believe in QPR and have faith thinking of the future.
Home kit? I quite like it! I don't mind thinner hoops. I think not even Lotto could make a horrible kit when you have blue and white hoops to play around. | | | |
