Anyone else enjoy the view on 09:49 - Feb 15 with 576 views | Boris_ | To be fair, it's London so they will charge London prices.

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:03 - Feb 15 with 554 views | Saints_Fan_73 | WHU tickets: around £32-47(!) Palace - £22-30 More to do with the terrible financial state West Ham are in than their London location.

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:24 - Feb 15 with 533 views | Boris_ | They are averaging 33k this season. Supply and demand. If Cortese could get 32k punters through the turnstiles each week paying £40 a head, don't you think he would? Or are you suggesting he'd keep prices low because he's such a great guy and loves the fans?
| ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:27 - Feb 15 with 525 views | SaintNick | Before last night they were averaging just under 30k

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:28 - Feb 15 with 522 views | Boris_ | OK, 30k then, still, more than justified charging them prices when they are getting 30k+ through the gates. It is a business, after all.

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:30 - Feb 15 with 519 views | SaintNick | thats what a lot of our supporters say when people moan on here about the cost of tickets, then in the next thread they defend the stay away fans citing that there is a credit crunch on and people cant afford to go. This baffles me

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:34 - Feb 15 with 511 views | Boris_ | Well my opinion is... Football tickets cost far too much and should be cheaper but as long as people are paying the prices then there is little that can be done unless there is a mass boycott. People are being priced out of football but as long as clubs can charge £30-£40 for a ticket then they will, and you can't blame them for that. I have no doubt that our tickets will be much, much higher next season... I won't get upset about it, I'll just make my decision as to whether I can justify the cost. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:37 - Feb 15 with 507 views | Saints_Fan_73 | They need to screw as much money from the fans as they can as they are in deep financial trouble. The demand for tickets isn't that high, they have been taking out radio ads on TalkSport all season long ans even for the top of the table clash last night their fans were able to turn up on the night and pay cash at the turnstiles.

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:39 - Feb 15 with 500 views | Happy_Jack | I think the cost of a season ticket next year should we go up will be pretty much the same as this. Only difference being you'll be paying around the same to watch 4 games less

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:41 - Feb 15 with 497 views | Boris_ | The demand is enough for them to be getting 30k+ through the gates every week. Yes they are doing a sh!t load of offers and massive marketing campaign, I get a leaflet through my door every week asking me to go to one of their games. They are screwing as much money from the fans as possible because they are a business, we do it and so do every other club do it. Do you think the parking barriers were put in for Health and Safety reasons? Do you honestly think there is a £3 administration cost to buying a ticket? Or do you think that it's our owners way of extorting a few more pence from the punters?

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:44 - Feb 15 with 490 views | Boris_ | I think you are very optimistic. They will be priced at the highest possible that will also ensure maximum take-up. I reckon around £500-£600 for the Northam. Why? Because people will pay it.

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:45 - Feb 15 with 489 views | Saints_Fan_73 | I'm not disagreeing Stupot. But the degree to which they are screwing their fans is more to do with them being in a very bad financial situation than just their geographic location.

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:52 - Feb 15 with 481 views | SaintNick | To a degree I agree, but their financial position is dependent entirely on them getting back to the Premier, if they dont do that, then they are screwed with or without increased prices

Anyone else enjoy the view on 10:56 - Feb 15 with 472 views | Saints_Fan_73 | Yep. There isn't a chance they can get through a 2nd season in the Championship without going into admin. Gold and Sullivan haven't paid of any of the debts, of the Icelandic owners and have kept the big contracts of Green, Faubert, etc and have added to the level of debt by spending big on the likes of Faye, Nolan, Maynard, Vaz Te. If they don't go up, they are fecked.

Anyone else enjoy the view on 12:36 - Feb 15 with 428 views | costasaint | Tickets are far too expensive - the reason being they have to be to pay the massive wages of the players. That is what needs sorting out. There should be a maximum wage but if you try and suggest that you get called a communist or something similar. If something isn't done soon more and more clubs will be fooked a la pompey | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

| ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Anyone else enjoy the view on 13:13 - Feb 15 with 375 views | Boris_ | The cost of their tickets has nothing to do with their financial situation and everything to do with them being a 'big' London club.
