QPR v Derby match thread 08:56 - Feb 14 with 33475 viewsBeckenhamhoop

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these.

We beat Eustace only a couple of games ago and I reckon we’ll beat his team again. I’d also like to see Colback and Morgan as the deeper laying two in midfield and Kolli given a chance after an hour or so if he’s recovered from his recent injury/illness (?). I think he’s been hard done by recently considering the amount of goals and assists he’s had.

Rangers 2 Rams 0

C’mon you Soooooopah…

Again interesting question around shape in midfield, I want Varane to start in front of the back 4, the debate around where Illias plays decides the line up. Personally would give Sam a rest and have Varane and Jack starting , or maybe Morgan or Illias on the left or Saito ( definitely Saito). Nice to have choices, hoping Paul Smyth not injured as he was limping when he went off on Tuesday and got the ref to tell the bench he couldn’t carry on.

I like it , no puns , to the point . So I'm changing my prediction I'm going for a Rangers win 2-1 Frey and Edwards.

Not sure I'd start Chair for this one. He was running on fumes at the end of the Cov match. Apparently Derby can't play through the middle but have decent CBs. Wouldn't risk leaving Paal isolated on the left as Chair doesn't currently track back. Morgan moves the ball quicker so prefer him against a resolute defence.

1-0 late goal for us. Debut goal from Yang.

Will Eustace be in the stands? Presume they stick with the caretaker for one more game?

I'm going 3-1 Rangers. Frey, Chair and Field on the scoresheet, not necessarily in that order.

Derby out of form.

New manager bounce.

And their new manager familiar with our team structure, pitch etc due to a previous acquaintance and topped up his knowledge from close quarters only couple weeks ago.

Can see Derby nicking this one, 0-1.

Keogh 89th minute.

0-3. Can't see it, I'm afraid. Literally and figuratively.

hmmmm, Everyone, EVERYONE! knows that new manager bounce never works when the manager is just watching from the stands
