He mentioned how much he appreciated the fans support and the sacrifices they make to follow the team. That’s really good to hear as the relationship between the fans and the team hasn’t been great.

Nobody made more high profile signings than Tosh. The likes of Callaghan, Kennedy, Tommy Smith the list is endless. He would invite them down to Swansea. Take them for a walk on Caswell Beach then up to the Caswell Bay Hotel for a meal and drinks. By then they were all keen to sign. Tosh sold our stunning locality better than anyone else.

As todays article from Fans Network shows unless things change drastically that could be highly unlikely. Value 3 million current wages 37k of which we are rumoured to be paying a significant part if not all of the rumoured 24k. By our standards that is way over our budget. Looks like we broke the bank after the untimely departure of Grimes. Really hope I'm wrong. A lot of water to run under the bridge until then.

We were paying Grimes £20K ish a week, if we are paying O'brien £7K a week on top it's only about £100K until the end of the season when his replacement comes back off loan. Still only small change from the apparent £4M Grimes deal. Particularly if it keeps us up.

Agree you are spot on. Sale of Grimes couldn't have been at a worse time. O' Brien deal good business to steady us through to the end of the season. Then time to reevaluate.
