Having an excellent game for Orient against Man City, he would have been an excellent buy for us.

I have'nt read what happened to end his transfer interest?

Anyone shed any light?

I believe we had our offers turned down, BBC commentator earlier quoted £1M.

Was it a suitcase full of crisp £50 notes or a 3/6 down payment and add-ons for each WC Final appearances?

I think we couldn't agree a payment structure, the fee was fine.

Swansea have shown interest on hima and Low. They are both our of contact at the end Nd of the season so the club can approach their agents again with a view to joining.

There will be a development charge presumably if they have rejected new contracts which seems likely. Swansea s target now is just staying in the division with the Swede on his way.

Once out of contract ( even in tbh ) do you really think that they would choose our club. Never in a month of sundays.

Can’t see Low coming here if we go down. Possibly even if we stay up. If he wants to get Wales recognition, he’d be better off at Cardiff or Wrexham I’d say.

Galbraith will undoubtedly have stronger offers from other Championship sides which we won’t want or be able to better.

Yes I do. Low was reported to be keen to come in January and Galbraith will be stepping up two leagues. Swansea s money is as good as anyone's.

You are negative and this negativity may have been apparent at the club when trying to sign players.

The media picks up on these things. Swansea actually signed three players. It should have been better self hate and introspection has to be rejected.

Longstaff was flavour of the month and "way too good for Swansea" even according to Williams. I think he has done nothing since at Championships level and they will be happy to move him on.

If Galbraith came to us he would be stepping up one league. That's providing we don't pass each other as they are only 3 points off the play offs.

" Swansea's money is as good as anyones" get real ffs we dont want to spend any money thats why we are in the shite that we are.

Omn a like for like basis, yes, our money is as good as anybody's. The trouble for us starts when we offer X amount and other clubs offer X+30% or more.

When the negative is the reality then why deny it? We won't offer as much money as others. Not because we don't want to but purely because we cannot afford to. Isn't saying it should have been better being negative?

Langstaff, turns out he wasn't worth the money I guess, that's not a negative unless you want to count it against Williams judgement?

Orient have the option to extend his contract by 1 more year

Making an offer at the end of the transfer window … stupid strategy especially when we don’t have the people to carry it out effectively

Orient have the option of another year which they are bound to trigger.

I think we will have some money decent miney available in the summer.
Were prepared to push the boat out with the Man City lad.

Grimes
Darling
Allen
Naughton
Pedderson
All off the wage bill
Obrien gone back.
Plenty of spare cash on the wage bill as opposed to January.
Just need to find a way to get over tge line this

That's great but how much we be able to spend in league 1?

The world is not black and white it is grey. There was money for Wright and he was at the stadium and should have been convinced to sign.

Peterborough bought a young Welsh player from mighty Chippenham Swansea were interested in..

The signings of Wright was not money related. The deal was pretty much agreed. Huw Jenkins got the club to the Premier league with no borrowed money and no invested money.

You do not see many Arabs in Swansea.

Not money related? How do you know? Where is your proof? Or is that a guesstimate?

It is my opinion. Do I have proof ? No. Every thing I post is my opinion. I do not have proof for anything I post.

Proof is what Police detectives need to get convictions. It needs a lot of background work interviews and these days inspection of telecoms and mobile phone data.

The club borrowed money from Martin Morgan [interest free] which was repaid. To say we didn't borrow money under HJ is just not true. On one occasion it was well publicised that MM lent the club money in advance of the Premier League TV money in our first season. It had also been done previously.

Galbraith on 20:56 - Feb 8 with 1565 viewsReslovenSwan1

This a waste a short term cash flow issue perhaps. As far as I know there was no need to borrow money to buy players for example.

Yes on one condition that the money is huge .
Look at Pederson 25k a week and for what?

Transfers and footballers only take the right money being thrown at it.

Do you honestly think players looking at joining our club dip into the Indy to get the current mood of fans before considering joining us ?
They simply have to pick up on media reports on the state of the club ( or their agents do ) to make a judgement call on the current state of our club
