Min-Hyeok Yang 00:03 - Feb 6 with 6988 viewsfraserc

Now that Min-Hyeok Yang has been loaned to us, there is a phenomenal amount of South Korean QPR content on YouTube, including quite a few match vlogs, for example:

There are many more to be found. Admittedly the vlogs do tend to concentrate on Yang, but in one of the videos he goes to the store and buys a QPR top, and shows quite a few South Koreans trying to get Yang's attention as he sat in the dugout before the match.

I find the concept of following a player, regardless of the team, quite the phenomenon but the Korean comments are very complimentary to the Rs.

There's an awful lot of evening games in the Championship and it takes its toll on wallet and energy. I was working all day Tuesday and had a 12 hour, full-on day lined up for Wednesday. Was at Millwall too on Saturday. Although I only live an hour away by public transport it was just too much of an ask on a cold night knowing I'd feel shattered at work all day the day after. Not all of us can work from
home.

The evening kick offs are even harder for people that live further away, hence the reason why our midweek games are more poorly attended.

From what I can remember from the translation I had this morning on my PC, he was complaining that he couldn't believe the beer cost £7 but he did seem to enjoy the it.

One of the great things about that scene is the Colonel trying not to laugh aswell as the dialogue.

I just don't get it.

Park I could understand. Bloke is a Korean legend, had won the lot at Man U, captained the national side, played in a World Cup semi final etc etc.

But Min-Hyeok is just a kid breaking through. Why care so much?
It would be like me going to watch a Deportiva La Coruna game and getting a Charlie Patino shirt whilst filming his every move.

We had a Korean bloke next to us during the match who the season ticket holder obviously sold his seat to online. Bloke sat by himself and couldn't have enjoyed the evening less.

All v odd, but I suppose that's the beauty of different cultures!

I think Rangers have just as many train-spotting geek obsessives as any culture.

I know because I am one of them! :)

I think pretty much everyone on this site qualifies Brian!

Poll: Who is your player of the season?

I'm Spartacus.

More of a statto than a train-spotter but the point stands.
