My Villa supporting mate said we've been playing him in the wrong position. Apparently his preference is to play wide left and cut in onto his right foot - like he did against Liverpool in the Cup.
The trouble is we have experimented with BB Diaz, Sulemana, Fraser and A Arm in this position with little success bar the odd game, so perhaps we should give Archer a go next ? | |

I think there is a good player in Archer. Certainly I think he would be a great success for us next season in the Championship. No point letting him go as we then have to replace him with more risky gambles. | | | |

Instead of all these wingers and inside forwards who we could experiment with playing at centre forward in the hope that it might work, we should have bought one proper striker: Ayoub El Kaabi. He's a real centre forward and his goals would have won us games.
Did anyone really believe that Archer was the answer to our need for a centre forward?
Last summer, we really could have got El Kaabi. Anyway, I guess he's dodged a bullet. He's the top scorer in the Europa League this season and gunning for another trophy. [Post edited 31 Jan 8:07]
