Alright Connell you made me do this!

Pretty sure my record on these is not great so I think this is a bit of a free hit, post Plymouth trek.

I'll take a point now.

Thanks and sorry in advance.

Yep Paal was quite good. And Ronnie Edwards, apart from at the death when he let the ball bounce. Apart from that he was good.

Have to say, I don't understand the sub we keep doing with Ashby coming on for Smyth. Maybe if Smyth was on a yellow and he was getting close to a second, but its a head scratcher for me.

Great win. Fantastic goal to win it, so pleased for Saito. Lloyd changed the game for us when he came on. Their centre backs got bullied.
Just hope we don't go overboard with expectations on getting into the top 6. Lets get to 50 points as soon as we can and see where we can go from there.

U R'ssss.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Great win tonight: average in first half but stepped it up in the second.
Delighted for Lloyd and Saito, special mention for Paal whose set pieces were consistently good and scored a good goal.
Some seem more interested in slagging off a couple of our players than celebrating the win though: seems a bit odd to me.

Lloyd was superb. He and Saito changed the game.

Fox and Edwards were solid bar that bit at the end when Fox when walkabout and Edwards let it bounce.

Paal had a pretty good game. Still think he doesn’t block the cross often enough, but fair’s fair, he did well.

Varane had a proper head scratcher; did some very odd things.

Chair and Kolli were poor and the subs made the difference.

We didn’t actually play very well, but we won, like we do this sort of thing all the time away from home.

Marti really needs to wake up and keep them both away from the first team - they're both that bad and, I feel, irredeemable! But an excellent, if not flawless, 2nd half, and Saito' s 'statement' first goal was more lovely than falling cherry blossom in a Kyoto garden.

Jokes aside Lloyd's technical ability is growing game by game - he had some really nice touches in there to hold up the ball under pressure. His physicality and energy is consistently excellent but he looks more of a footballer each time he comes on.

Thought all of the back 4 were excellent today - after the initial wobble Edwards has slotted in really well. Varane immense again, Saito completely changed things on the left after a pretty anonymous showing from Chair, as did Lloyd replacing Kolli.

Really don't ever want to see Ashby again. His decision-making is just woeful; he looks worse than he is because he tries to be clever when he doesn't need to be. If he stuck to doing the basics a bit more I think there'd be a player in there, but he still thinks he's on an academy pitch. It cost us against Leicester and gave us trouble here too. Worse for me today than Madsen, who didn't do a lot but did at least do it right when he was involved.

Putting that negative aside, the togetherness in this squad right now is something special - Jimmy rushing up to praise Lloyd for winning the free kick late on, the whole squad celebrating Koki getting his goal. That spirit is a big part of what's dug us out of 24th and it'll be what drives us to the play-offs if we manage to get there.

I think you should start a poll to ask whether you should start another poll on our opinion on Marti.

They're not happy unless moaning.

I'm actually going to defend Ashby a little. He was clearly under instructions to hit first time balls in towards Lloyyd to try and get him in behind. Unfortunately, he just can't pass very well.
Madsen did OK. Nothing amazing or horrendous.

Let’s be honest he’s completely different to Taarabt but I love him all the same. Doesn’t lose the ball and always an outlet

Also very creative

I think the last one was pretty conclusive.

"Remember to listen to me but look at her. Don't get it the wrong way round. That would be hideous."

Agreed. Saito will take the plaudits for his goal but that was a MotM performance from Paal tonight.

A game with so little quality it’s was staggering at times but I don’t care …what a win and what a team . We are grinding results out . It’s great to see .

The Saito goal though is a beauty. Absolutely chuffed for him . What a goal!!
Lloyd changed the game and that is huge . Big, strong mobile and growing in confidence.
There is something about him isn’t there ? It was a masterstroke the first set of subs .

The second set….not so much .
I know the ‘party line’ will be the Ashby has a knock or whatever but I’m not so sure .
I think that was MC saying enough is enough . Could be wrong and some people on here will say I’m wrong . Fair enough .
But he was so bad when he came on he was going to cost us the win. Gave the ball away every single time he had it . Every time .
Madsen got 1 block in on the edge of our box . Otherwise he was a ghost ..an apparition …unfortunately a waste of space . Down to 10 men basically .
I think he needs a loan to gather himself , get his mojo back , start to try to gain experience in a league that isn’t walking football and then we can try again next season .
Clearly a footballer in there…sadly I thinking it’s a five a side footballer .

Impressed with Varane tonight . Jimmy again very good and man of the match for me was Ronnie Edwards.
Exceptional .

Come on now lads. Let’s give that ferret Bannon some clog Saturday and beat them for a change.
You Supa…..

Captain Chaos v2.0 with new and improved first touch, hold up and link play - beware Championship.

Clear MOTM for me. He just feels like a QPR player, bit mad, bit raw, all heart

Was able to listen and watch bits and pieces of the 2nd half, some impressions are:

- Alifie is a super fun project with huge upside, some intelligence mixed in with rambunctious body un/dis control

- Saito stunned with that goal, so glad I saw it, maybe he starts to ‘get’ the league and take off

- Paal, really glad for the player, solidly puts in the shift and has his drawbacks but never super high or super low, have a game winning impact

- I was so so much happier when Colback came in to replace Ashby

First post on the match fred and I get the score right. :)

That's the first score I've got right this season.

What a second half.

I love how everyone who supports QPR went completely bonkers when Saito broke his duck with a wonder goal.

My moment of the season so far.

Pure joy from a classy player.

Paal my MotM.

Solid defending, excellent corner/scrossing and a goal.

C'mon U Rs

I know the links have been posted but I'll just leave this image here.

It's a beautiful thing.

Loved Saito's goal, I scared a few people when that hit the net. It's great that all the new boys have been scoring lately, we are starting to look like a happy team again.

Ashby was poor. But Madsen did nothing wrong. You can’t judge him in this game based on other performances. Field and Nardi were probably at fault for the goal.
