A tad cynical, but probably true!

How the hell are Huddersfield spending £3m on a player?!?!

L1 and L2 financial rules allow for greater spending than in the Championship.

Continuing with picking up Prem academy cast offs and seems a Leon Scarlett has signed on as a scholar after being released by them - midfielder.

Has anyone watched much of the development squad this season? Some of the players that came in over the summer and had website pieces sounded rather promising - likes of Rocco Friel, Jack McDowell and Rohan Vaughan alongside Kieran Morgan. I've not watched a Dev game this season however.

Thanks for that info, Hoopstar.

Says here he was released by Arsenal.

That's Scarlett in the library ruled out then.

Redacted or not, it's great news and well deserved.

Excellent news.

Hopefully no release clause or anything like that.

Hoopsa has bagged himself an interview with Kieran Morgan which will be on his YT channel tomorrow. I have to say he’s getting some good interviews especially after recently speaking to Mark Warburton. He’s a very welcome addition to those covering QPR on social media. Well done Connor, if you ever visit LFW towers.

Thank you mate. Long time LFW lurker, so after this (and many other supportive comments on the forum) I thought it was about time I make a profile. Appreciate it.

Just thought I'd post this reminder. One of those instantly likeable players, who you like more and more.

Thanks Brian! I’ll go for Stilton or a good chilli cheese.

I thought that any season’s accounts outside of the Championship were included in the three years calculations if the team concerned get promoted back up. If so then you’d think Birmingham would have issues.

Yeah, I think you're right. I've no idea how Brum will deal with it.

I think they received £6m or so for Jack Rudoni in the summer, most of which was unspent.

Rudoni moved from Huddersfield not Birmingham, so that might cover some of Huddersfields recent spending. It was also reported that AFC Wimbledon received around £1 million as part of a sell on clause, when Huddersfield originally bought him.
