In December we had Swansea away, 3 days later we had Norwich away, next week we have Plymouth away and 4 days later away to Hull, surely that’s discrimination?

Does anyone know how the team travels to away games? And do they travel back the same night after the game?
I assume they usually go by coach but I know the team has travelled by train to some long distance away games. However the train would usually mean not being able to get back from a midweek away game until the following day.
I heard some teams in the top divisions use charter flights for long aways games. Would QPR or is that only really Premier League teams? | | | |

For that journey, QPR should hire a charter flight from Exeter Airport to Humberside Airport, with a Coach as the taxi to and from them.
This way, rather than spend 6 hours on Coach (with stops), they will be there in 2 hours and done. Then they can do the long Coach journey back. | |

I read a piece on Man City's hiring of a plane to take the team to Leicester as I recall.
However, if a 20 minute flight wasn't bad enough, it's the fact that the plane they took had to fly down from Aberdeen empty and after depositing their precious darlings back in Manchester, return to Scotland, empty!
The piece then went on to cite a range of similar examples of premier league private jet pampering. Given the state of the environment, and the game's protestations about going carbon neutral, what a load of bollards...which, given the amount of bollards on the motorways, is probably why they are collecting loads of airmiles! | |
