Just because we don't know, we therefore presume they haven't done something we'd consider absolute basics? We don't see pictures of the players training every day but we know they must be doing.
Now I agree 100% that an update about the pitch would have aided fan engagement. To me, and you, that is also absolute basics and the club deserve criticism for not doing it. | | |  |

I sit somewhere between Boss Hog and the vocal critical supporters of some board members.
The stewardship should always be under scrutiny but there are some pillars of light amongst the obvious own goals. We cant be down on them all the time.
Is SG the man?.. I am happy to wait until season end after the very recent (pre Ogden) turmoil to make a judgement.
Agree that the fan engagement could and should be so much better from the club. We get it from Big Jim and the team to some extent but very little to get excited about from the boardroom. I guess they would counter they are not there for this reason and that's fine if the club appoints somebody who will run through walls for supporters and the communication is ramped up ten fold. | | | |

I agree. I live 50 miles away and now can only go to home games on a Saturday, weather and health permitting. I'm awaiting refunds due on tickets for 2 postponed games. I've spent money on season tickets (but not this year), a plaque, gifts from the club shop and have given to the fundraising initiatives when our club was almost lost. My brother has been going to games for over 55 years and has spent much, much more, as have others!
The Board need to have more respect for the fans - most of whom manage on a low income - and keep us on side.
