Chelsea away Sean Wright Philip's goal, such joy (though not from him the little...) Chelsea home, 1-0 the John Terry racist night, greatest ever performance by us, the crowd. Never known an atmosphere as intense or hostile anywhere. More joy.

Can I give a shout out to a 3-0 against Palace at Selhurst. Ray Wilkins and Peter Reid (I think it was one of only 3 games they played together for us) ran the show. Palace were lucky to get nil.
Of course I remember the other classics, but my personal favourite is the 4-1 against Tottenham. And that Michael Nyman celebration of Stan to go with it

That Palace game is a good call. I was 12 and in the paddock seats with my dad quite near the away end.
They had been giving Allen pelters all game and when he ran down to their end to taunt them after scoring they did not like it at all. The last few mins featured several attempts at pitch invasions and menacing chants about us getting our "fcuking heads kicked in".
Being in the paddock seating it was fairly quick getting out at the end. I distinctly recall on the car radio on the way home the reporter talking about both sets of fans invading the pitch at the end and being "quite happy to kick the hell out of each other".

1979-80 Scum 0 Rrrrs 2 Busby and a late clincher from Steve Burke.
1982-83 Scum 0 Rrrrs 2 Gregory and Sealey on the run in to our 2nd Division Title.
2009-10 Palace 0 Rrrrs 2 Buzsaky whacked one in early on and Gorks scored in the second half. Colin's return to Palace. They didn't know whether to cry or applaud. Another vital win to lift us away from the relegation zone.

Numpty, in case you had forgotten, Old Trafford is in Manchester, about 200 miles North of London.
I know they have a lot of London based armchair fans and are no.2 on the hate list for a lot around our manor, but, it couldn't really be considered a derby.
Unless, someone in the Murdoch empire has baptised it as the M40/M42/M6/M60 derby.🤔😁
