There so much nonsense about we put this on Twitter.

And for everyone you will only remain as conversant as possible by reading everything 😂 Impossible we know.

Plenty of people looking to trip up websites who report from the evidence available. All anonymous and all faceless 😂🫣

Mind you thanks for the clicks.

My God, the very first reply ‘do you think Russy would come back’ is like a lovesick puppy. Don’t people see further than the hair?

Honestly Luke do you really believe your PR ! Swans crash at Pompey on 17:42 - Jan 2 by union_jack

I’d say so but we’ll see.

Luke has gone or nearly gone.

He won't come back and I'm glad, but you tried to ridicule me when I stated that he still has a lot of support locally, it's true.

Post on X from Steve Hermon, a journalist who covers WBA:

"Luke Williams might be the odds-on bookies favourite for the Albion job but it’s my understanding that #WBA aren’t pursuing the Swansea head coach for their vacant role.

It’s likely another case of an agent drumming up interest in their client, as seen with Martin links."

Either way he's gone now.

Yep, just depends whether we get 1.8m for the privilege to get rid of him or whether it will actually cost us. Hopefully not the latter.

This is the guy who said Martin’s agent was drumming up interest.
Then Martin turned down an interview.

That was Keith's personal opinion. X account is Swansea Independent - never confuse the two!

it's easy for some too though.
People reading this forum will see the "owner" of the forum who himself has written articles on this subject stating the site has close contacts within the club and the new investor group make such statements and take it as given.
It could be counted as irresponsible as Lukes comments re the situation

Don’t recall that WR but certainly not intentionally if I did. Hope I didn’t offend.

Press conference tomorrow - I expect Luke can claim that it has only been internet/social media rumours and there has been no direct communication with West Brom. And lets focus on the game ahead.

But he does need help with his post match interviews. He should be doing a lot better having managed three league clubs.

No one is crazy enough to take Russy back!!
26 games without a win. Signing of Ogbeta, Fisher, Tjoe-a-on
Sorinola
Terrible, terrible manager

It makes you wonder if Williams and his agent were pursuing the interest. He has put himself in an awkward position.

The agent may have been pushing for it. Luke may not have.
As I said the other day - the agent will be on a significant commission fee if he moves Luke on.

Well, he didn't deny his interest when asked about the vacancy. In fact, he was encouraging WBA to contact him.

I think it was just very clumsy.

Should Luke stays he needs a lot of help - PR and with the coaching. A Calderwood type coach to come in and support. I assume Calderwood left Southampton with RM?

If Williams is still in charge on Saturday. Will he get slaughtered, supported or ignored.

Aren't Sorinola, and Ogbeta in Plymouth now, with Whittaker and Obafemi...there's worse managers!

That was the info.

And I took it as read and potential due to the fact every source, even those who don’t work with us were saying it.

There’s a lot of people with hindsight on every forum, even Phil’s. Posturing people with no identity and absolutely no balls. I’ll take it though.

the fact they are there says a lot about Martins spotting of talent.....and yes there are worse managers but also a lot more better .

I think he’s more shrewd than that.

After the Luton game you could maybe put it down to naivety. To do the same thing again a few days later, when he’d have undoubtedly had a rocket after the first one isn’t a coincidence.

He’s put Coleman in a very difficult position and he’s done it without a hint of thought for our club.
