For me it was a game at Kenilworth Road, this time of year (possibly in 1977 not sure.) Their open concrete terracing was frigid and there was a half a gale blowing across it. My mate and and kept switching places so we could shield each other from the wind in shifts. I swear if I'd had to stand there another ten minutes I'd have gone to emergency with frostbite in my toes.

Elm Park on that concrete terracing around 97/98 ish . I think we won or drew but I can’t remember due to the bloody frostbite . All my mate Jim (rip) wanted to do was just keep drinking cold beer. Since that day I struggle to drink beer at all when I’m cold .

Could have been stood next to you Connell. Was there with friend and it was brilliant night and then got home, watched on sportsnight with my dad. No phones then or Internet. He didn't know the result when watching.
The two scorers that night, how differently their lives went after...
Sinton and Sansom.
But the phrase, "the heavens opened"" comes to mind.
An epic night for sure. We took a large following to Highbury for the 0-0 there before this replay.
I'd recently started seeing a girl who didn't like football. A mate I had a ticket for said he couldn't make it and I offered it to her as a joke. To my surprise she accepted and absolutely loved the experience despite getting drenched in the Loft.

I had a pie which was cooked to around 1000 degrees celcius & burnt my mouth . If memory serves me it was only -4/-5 degrees that day but the wind probably added another -10 c to that .

Another vote for this one,I was also severely hungover,as was my girlfriend at the time, who spent most of the coach journey throwing up into a carrier bag..
Non QPR game was at Slough Town,an evening game ,the 2nd half was played in freezing fog,I then had a 30 minute cycle home,to a cold flat with poxy heating that took hours to get even warm,I went to bed wearing my coat and boots…

I was at that game. When we 'equalised' I jumped up and down like a lunatic and all my change fell out of my pockets. All the surrounding Rangers fans gleefully picked it up. I hope it froze to your frostbitten fingers you bstards! Wasn't it a ridiculous early Sunday kick off too?

Rekyvik away wore every item of clothing I packed for the three days still froze my tits off The Oldham game as mentioned by others , think we Hiscock in the lovleyroilets provided to us u til just befor koto keep out of the cold . Reading awayfew season ago sky game just for a change ,everyone was advised to stay at home due to the weather obv ewe ignore that advice , Parked the car in the hotel about §5 mins walk from the ground , was like frosty the snow man time we got to the ground .
Wettest not sure on the year but Swansea home game , was in the paddock , drinking a cuppa at half time and heard this roar of noise as the hail hit the school end the biggest hail storm I’ve ever seen hit us , soaked us within seconds the. The hail started to hurt as. It hit us hard .
Good friday 10th april 1998 away to Sunderland. 2 2 draw after being 2 down at half time. It was absolutely freezing I remember when the coaches turned up and rs fans got off in t shirts ( think they thought stadium of light was Portugal) Ws had been up there for a week at my wifes folks Northumberland cottage so new it was gonna be cold but j have never before or since been that cold. We met some rs fans who were staying in a caravan in Wooler who said it was warmer outside than in. After the game we sat in the car for 30 minutes with the heaters on full to get some life back in the feet and hands. We drewx22 having been 2 down Mije sharon hot a 2nd half brace. Vinny Jones and Razor Ruddock in thd back 4 . I think it was that point that kept us up and Sunderland were promoted.

The wettest and most miserable I have ever been at a football match wasn't with QPR, it was Belgium v Ireland in November 1997, at a play off match for WC qualification. My bruv flew in from Kerry and we hopped on the Eurostar and over a few beers pondered the dark warnings that everyone had issued about the perils of Belgian beer, warnings which we royally ignored. Later that night and now in the company of various members of Air Force Two (taking Madeleine Albright somewhere and recovering pieces of the space shuttle that had fallen off) and a Swedish female volleyball team we were actually asked to leave a karaoke bar. We were monumentally mullered. The morning after was horrific. I have never felt as bad, nor since. Catastrophically hungover, we eventually emerged into the hotel reception where the staff were still laughing at the cctv of our attempts to use the new fangled keyless entry things they'd just had installed. We decided that the only way to get through the rest of the day was to carry on drinking. This was a really poor decision and we ended up walking towards where we though Heysel was. The heavens opened, unending sheets of rain. By the time we got to the ground (where we stood on an open terrace) we were both wet through. It absolutely hammered down througout the match. And then David Bloody Connelly got sent off and then we lost. Awful.

The coldest I've been is at Boundary Park, Oldham. It's the second highest ground in the country, a fact I discovered the hard way. I went there twice, first for the play-off semi-final first leg in 2003, and a second time for the away league fixture in March 2004. Having frozen through in 2003, I went prepared in 2004 wearing multiple layers. It made little to no difference. By the second half, I was block of ice.
The wettest I've been is at the County Ground, Swindon in 2003. The away end had no roof so there was no escaping the weather. Despite going ahead, QPR eventually lost 3-1. It was 1-1 midway through the second half when I decided to warm myself up by buying a burger and coffee from the kiosk at the side of the away end. As I settled back into my seat, self-confessed QPR fan Sam Parkin made it 2-1 to Swindon. In my frustration, I inadvertently kicked my cup of coffee over. 4 minutes later it was 3-1 and game over. To add to my despair I looked down to see that the patty had slipped out of my burger! If memory serves me well I believe that this was the game that convinced Ian Holloway to later bring Eric Sabin to Loftus Road, despite Parkin being far more prolific and a QPR fan to boot.
Looking back it appears that 2003 and 2004 wasn't a good year for me weather wise but, boy, the football more then made up for it.

The only London game: that was against Spurs . Bannister scored . I think Falco was playing for them. It was either a draw or we just edged it, I think the former. 1980s
There was an evening game in freezing weather at Loftus Road in the 80s when the lights failed and I think was abandoned - not sure. Freezing in the Ellerslie Road stand. .

I found Tony Incenzos blog on the abandoned Forest Milk Cup game game in November 85: coldest November night in London for 17 years….Yup, I recall my frozen feet, as I stamped to keep warm. https://www.888sport.com/blog/floodlight-failure-at-qpr-1985.
… and here is the link for the Jan 85 game ( “ the only game in London” - everything else snowed off) :
Jim Smiths side. I really liked that team. ( There was also a Boxing Day fixture v Spurs in 1978 which also ended 2-2).

I was at that game think we may have lost 2 1 but I was in the seating area in the main stand under covers texting my 3 fellow car passengers who were on the terrace with you saying how lovely and dry it was fairly soon got told i'd get very wet on the long walk home stopped my banter. The coldest is either Blackpool away in January Big Ben Burgess scored a last minute winner for them Oldham away in January either a 1 1 draw or 2 1 defeat or my favourite a 2 0 defeat at Grimsby mid week in November when Steve Livingston scored

Coldest wasn't an R's match but was Oldham v Plymouth in Division 2 Feb '88. I was at Uni in Manchester and me and a hammers supporting friend decided to get to some local matches. It was so cold with an icy wind blowing across their plastic pitch. I might be exaggerating but I think there were about 15 Plymouth fans in the away end who went mad when Tommy Tynan (who else) scored the only goal of the game. That was the beginning of that useful Oldham side under Joe Royle with legends like Roger Palmer.

Not seen it mentioned, but Blackpool away in December 2013, play-off season, was absolutely miserable. We won 2-0, Matt Phillips goal and then an assist for Austin. Soggy beforehand, but caught in a deluge after the game and retreated to the nearest pub we could find. Can see how sodden everyone looks on the highlights.

I was at this one, with a couple of mates who didn't even follow football let alone support Rangers. Absolutely bleak.
Was this also the game where they brought out a young cheerleader squad at half time?! I've never forgotten the bloke behind me screaming "you're a fúcking disgrace! And you porky!" at the fairly young girls dancing in the deluge, quite the moment 😂
