January Transfer Thread 13:27 - Dec 23 with 190126 viewsKeithHaynes

Done some asking and Oli McBurnie is most certainly up for a loan back to the UK this window. I’ve been told four Championship clubs are interested. This will all fall on the fee’s involved plus he is on in the region of €36,000 a week. Big numbers but we know how these things can be negotiated.

Do we have the money ?
Yes.

P&S will need to be positive and only the club really know where we are with that at this moment in time, It won’t be massively healthy. Oli has played fourteen games for Las Palmas this season with no return. He has never been a prolific striker, but could he settle into Luke’s team ?

One striker who has hit the headlines from nowhere and must be interesting some is Sam Dalby. He is on loan from Wrexham at Dundee United and is currently the leading goalscorer in the SPL on 9.

You would be right 9/10 Rockin bro.

The type of striker we need but with Luton in as Keith stated in the other thing we don’t stand a chance.

I turned the video off half way thru tbh and tho his finishing wasnt out of the top draw ( far from it ) the standard of goalkeeping was truely shocking even Aiden Newhouse would have filled his boots.

The Kilgetty Messi doesn't have the same ring to it as The Tenby Messi has.

McBurnie? No thanks.

Referred to ( wrongly ) as a cart horse by some Sheffield fans, he’s not the natural goalscorer that we need. He did ok here last time but he certainly wasn’t prolific. 22 in 58 games is nothing to get excited about and yet he’s not got anywhere near that at his other clubs. His wage demands might well be too much anyway hopefully.

Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

I was told he was from Moreton, about a mile or two from Kilgetty.
The Moreton Messi sounds about right.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

According to the players he has always been the Kilgetty Messi, I'll go with them.

This kind of backs it up.

Bid in.
Joe Low

Won't be a huge fee and plan is to be a 3rd centre half to push Darling and Cabango.
Abbey going back.

All the 24 he scored for Swansea were in the championship over 44 games better than 1 in 2.

He got 18 games in the Premier league as a gangling youngster mostly as sub only got a couple of goals in the league cup.

Like Brewster he played hi bet football for Swansea.

Wise sage since Toshack era

The report mentioned 2 signings were imminent, are they just pending announcement or going through work permit processes?

Keith, was reading through the thread and was wondering about Milleskog and you posted this.
I really hope we can push this through.
The right age, fit, transfer fee in my eye (£1.5 million was it)?

From October, on a Swedish website, "Swansea have scouted Noel Milleskog on site in Sweden. According to FotbollDirekt, the Championship club is prepared to make a bid of around 22-25 million kronor for the 22-year-old striker"

This is £1.5 to £1.8 million.

Not much else to report as Sirius have recently departed from their manager and are in close season. They do say on their forum though:

"We recruit smartly and sell expensively, record sales get adequate replacements and we can rightly call ourselves a stable Allsvenskan team".
