The 80s looking back was quite an interesting time for comedy. You had, what I suppose, was the last hurrah of the old music hall and working mens clubs like Cannon & Ball etc, but then the alternative comedy came along and blew it out the water. I loved Ben Elton, Alexei Sayle, Blackadder, and Who's Line Is It Anyway. Plus, the US imports of Rosanne and Cheers.
Had to leave the ground before kick off Wednesday as my mother in law suddenly deteriorated after being in hospital for a week, I was meant to be staying the night in Chigwell, ended up getting a black cab there from Liverpool st (£65) and git home to Lowestoft at 11.30 just as my mrs rang me to say she had gone. Mrs is finding it tough as her mum moved to Lowestoft just after we did and they saw each other every day. I’m probably going to miss the Preston game as well, I also missed Norwich as that’s the day after she was admitted to hospital, I’ve only seen us win at Cambridge this season!

Yes I been to way too many funerals in last few years. The cycle of life.
I still feel young myself, and in my head, I am still 28 and every woman fancies me, but apparently I have been advised that is a delusion of mine !!!!!
But I am very aware that it is actually very true !!!!
