My gosh . Astonished at how bad we were but I’ll take a point after playing that badly .
We look shattered didn’t we. Lloyd got us up the pitch so fair play to him.
Ashby and Andersen were as bad as I can remember. Immediately we looked better with Paal in there simply because he can use his left foot.
Varane my man of the match today . Covered every blade of grass to protect our goal and actually a lovely pass for Smyth for the goal .

We had 21% posession with 10 minutes to go that is shocking and embarrasing for Pros to be honest.
Ashby was getting roasted from minute 1 until he was taken off its a miracle he did not cost us that point .
Anderson is just too slow and what exactly is Chair offering right now he looks miles off it yet .
I wont mention our corners what a shambles FFS.

I'm really struggling with Ashby. At the moment I really don't want him near the team. I know he is a young player playing out of position but at times he doesn't look like a footballer. Always seems to make the wrong choice. Does the opposite to the thing he should. So many times cuts in and passes it in field and into danger. So many times he came running out if defence to close someone down and left the runner to go in behind. | | | |

So despite the heavy criticism of the performance, the merciless criticism of the likes of Ashby and Andersen the boys earned a point.
Bristol City are no Oxford United. They have, by our standards, assembled an expensive squad and have an excellent home record. We restricted them to a goal from a free kick, scored ourselves on the break and at the end looked as likely to score a winner as they did.
Overall of course we didn't play well, sat too deep, but every player was guilty of giving the ball away, not just Ashby, but despite obvious tiredness we hung on in there for the point. You never know, if we could take a decent corner we might even have got the win.
Well done lads and well done Paul Smythe for the tidy finish. I will be honest, I was fully expecting the ball to roll a foot wide of the post! | | | |

Bristol City are very decent at home and started the game on fire: great defensive performance from us and job done to get to HT level.
Seemed inevitable to me that we could only get better going forward and City would blow themselves out after a while and thought we edged the 2nd half.
Well done Varane and Smyth, was the type of game for Cook and Dunne to do well in.
