Like I said in another thread, we are often the blip in an otherwise decent career.
In other words, it’s us not them.
In the case of Oteh and TNS though, the Cymru league is atrocious. I once made a visit to Briton Ferry v Barry. The stadium was step 7 standard but charming nonetheless.
I would say that for the vast majority of players who leave us, we're the highlight of their career in terms of league status. Most drop down, which tells us more about our recruitment and ability to develop players, then anything else.
That’s the case for most academies and clubs though, although I agree we are especially bad at it. An academy / club releases around 10-20 players a season I think.
Thats up to 480 players in the Championship’s case.
Although weren’t we once told that 13 players left our acadamies to join Prem teams under Ferdinand?
I was referring more to the Damian Delaneys, Jason Puncheons, Jordon Mutchs, and Alex McCarthys really.
I think you're about right on 13 players getting nicked from our Academy. For a grand total of £750K. It's not so much the numbers but some of those we lost are now playing PL.
Harvey Elliot, Jordan Zemura and Luca Gunter were among the lads poached.

1. Are we really more susceptible to said poaching than other Champ clubs? 2. Are we statistically develoiping/selling on fewer players than our rivals? 3. If so, what (if anything) can we do about it?
