Former chief scout at QPR responsible for some of our best signings - Rowlands, Shittu and Cook first time around, Osayi-Samuel second time around - kindly sat down with us last Tuesday afternoon.
We chatted about the rebuilding of that team and its recruitment hits (and misses, Bob Taylor), culminating in the promotion at Hillsborough. Listened to part 1 on my travels last night. Comes across so well and I can well believe you sat with him for 4 hours Clive, it almost seems like some of those stories are bursting out of him! Really enjoyable harking back to the good (well, not good but fun!) times in Div 2 when he first came in.
