Villains Who’ve Supported QPR 10:53 - Dec 2 with 10402 viewshopekillsyou

So…Reginald Christie, who murdered at least 6 people ( including his wife, Ethel) and lived at 10 Rillington Place W12( the road no longer exists; replaced by Bartle Road, near Ladbroke Grove) was found, when arrested in 1953, with a QPR badge in his inside pocket plus “ the tobacco tin in which he collected clumps of women’s pubic hair “ ( revolting; I kid you not: there’s a new book out about the murders). It appears he was a regular at home games .
Any other notable villains in this category ( I mean Rs supporters, not tobacco tin collectors…)?

The old boy I look after has told me that him and his mates bunked off school to sit on the wall and watch the police go in and out of there once he was found out.

When Timothy Evans was wrongly arrested, my Dad went into 10 Rillington Place to collect his stuff. They knew his family who also lived in Peabody estate north Ken.

He said Christie let him in, and this was when there were bodies hidden in the walls.
What a horrific story.

Toby Young would be my choice: a man so unbearable his own friends refused to go to his stag do.

I'm not sure whether Ernest Saunders counts?

I admit to not knowing if he ever considered himself as a Rangers man, but I'm fairly sure he was the person to approve of our sponsorship.

A small point but Rillington Place was in W11 . My late Brother used to deliver newspapers to him and collected payment from him at a cafe that was close by.

My old dad called me a bar steward once or words to that effect.

I mean, how awful is that !!!

These days if I said it had caused me upset and offense, he would be facing a ten year stretch, so he is clearly termed a criminal in the world of today !!!

Slightly exaggerated but not much.

I do think the world's gone crackers and I know generations before me would have said the same about my generation, but seriously any young ones that think some things today truly are completely out of touch with any sense of reality whatsoever !!!

Jihadi John. He lived on the Mozart Estate equidistant between two blue plaques. One for where QPR were formed the other for where Norman Wisdom was brought up. I found that somehow apt.

Dunno about him being an R but I grew up over the park from Melrose Avenue where the first bunch of his murders were and my parents knew him to say hello from Labour party meetings in the late 70s/early 80s.
