The reason for the empty seats is that people like your good self can’t be bothered to go.👍

I thought originally he shows all the signs of not wanting to be at little o’l Swansea. Then I thought no…he’d be better as a defensive midfielder. Now I realise he’s crap.

My good friend from Lanarkshire was there again today. Ex British rail so he does have a thingy for free rail travel. But overall it’s making the time. Brings his Mrs, stays in Morgan’s etc. Not every game of course but there’s so many who travel big distances which annoys me when the team don’t do the basics.

I could easily mention twenty plus others from the lengths and depths of England too.

Human nature
I don’t feel justified in making the 400 mile round trip for home games nor indeed to away games .
My missus heart attack set me back as it came way out of the blue .Had she been on her own ,at he time, she might not have survived ,so streaming it has to do.

I’ve lost the chum whom I used to go to away games with and I’m not keen on driving alone to games, having a small beer on my own then driving back sulking

I’m just one though

What about the thousands of others .

Maybe, reading this site puts them off

Well, I didn’t know bout your wife’s health problems and I’m sorry to read that, does that mean you would be going to the games otherwise?
What fans who go to games dislike is fans who don’t go criticising them, which you tend to do regularly.

Had a heart attack in July,Rog .in our local swim pool . I dragged her out and we got her to hossie .
We are blessed with having a heart specialty hospital over at Liverpool Broadgreen.
She got stents fitted and has a load of meds but she’s still with me giving me hell on math days

He wasn’t great for Boro all those years ago

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Most informative, accurate, well researched, non anonymous and hard working Swansea site you will find.

I doubt your claim 100%.

There are quite a few fair weather fans who went when we were EPL but there are also quite a few who don't go for various reasons including refusing to give Levein and Kaplan any more money, that ws why I didn't renew our seasons.

Don't judge everybody the same way. There will also be quite a few who simply cannot afford it. I wonder how many of our regular supporters worked for Tata until recently?

I am not judging people the same way, it has been suggested the the fan drop off is because of the way we are playing.

There are many reasons/excuses, I still maintain the biggest is the ability to sit on the sofa and flick a switch.

I only go by what the people I know say including someone who runs a bus. I don't see how your comment can be constructive if you speak for yourself and don't go anyway. You gave the reason as ill health in the family and the passing of a friend, you can't have it both ways.

Thought we struggled initially with the energetic high press, Then add a couple of uncharacteristic defensive howlers and we had a mountain to climb. Once we got to grips with them, we battered them and should have prob had 5. Again like the Leeds game, overall I enjoyed the game.

More people working shift patterns now, weekends off are a thing of distant memory for a lot of people so Saturday 3pm is not available to many.

The way we were playing until recently is certainly a significant factor for many. However many of the empty swathes of seats are in the south stand which was designated as the family stand. It should be of concern to those in charge as those missing kids are the future of the clubs fan base.

We need a good run to get some backsides back on seats over the festive season - winning football will get people back, it’s the feel good factor & atmosphere of knowing your team is going to be competitive & favourites to win home matches that gets people in the ground

The South Stand is what I have been banging on about. It used to be the family stand from before we were in the Premier League. The current owners changed the pricing structure so the Stand is no longer an attractive offer for families. The last game they did "kids for a £1" it was quite full. They need to bring in incentives this season and sell season tickets for next season an adult and child ticket for a single adult price. They need to start again and build for the future. A designated family stand would be a start.

be more like me and attend Ammanford home games instead. Much much better standard of football i can guarantee you all.

My methods are not favoured by some but by god i speak the truth.
