Burgers 12:12 - Nov 27 with 9553 views | RangersDave | Hi everyone, Just popped into Maccy D's for a convenience burger and was shocked to find that their burgers are like 1mm wafers, and over all the burger and bun is around 25% smaller for the same money. in relation to the one i had last week! Anyway, i thought a burger thread on here was needed, so i can canvas you all as to your thoughts regarding your best fast food, artisan, value burger around. There used to be a great place in Liverpool that was an artisan place and called 'Almost famous' and had great beers, great drinks for the kids, and above all else fantastic burgers Locations please and opinions on your favourite place

Burgers on 14:58 - Nov 27 with 1728 views | Bluce_Ree | The last time I had a McDs I couldn't believe how thin the burger patty was. What a load of shit. Five Guys are ace. That said, smash up a burger and get it on the BBQ. Top with fried onions and a bullshit cheese slice. Wrap it all in foil for a few mins before you tuck in. Splendid.

Burgers on 14:58 - Nov 27 with 1728 views | Boston | Always enjoyed a burger but rarely eat them. Don't need the gourmet stuff nor the type that need a cocktail stick to hold together, a simple patty, onions (close to raw), pickle, with maybe couple of ingredients depending upon my mood, will suffice. The stuff served from trailers around football stadiums are crap; but I always enjoy them, they're just right for the day. I remember a good first hand example of the nations economy about forty years ago when we travelled to Anfield and I paid 32p for one outside the Kop, the previous weekend I'd handed over a quid on the South Africa Rd for pretty much the same product. Think we lost 3 - 0.

Burgers on 15:14 - Nov 27 with 1684 views | Monkey_Roots | I used to frequent a Wendy's in Hounslow when I worked there in the 90's – really really good. A mate said recently that he'd had one somewhere, so they must be coming back.
Burgers on 15:18 - Nov 27 with 1666 views | Mr_Beef | Beer and Burger in King's Cross is worth a shout. They do what it says on the tin with a decent range of burgers and a good rotation of craft beers.
Burgers on 15:27 - Nov 27 with 1620 views | QPunkR | Like I said, there's one in Stratford and has been for a couple of years. Apart from that, there's one in Cirencester or something that my brother excitedly photographed as he was staying at a hotel across the way from it. Dunno of any more so it doesn't seem a full throttle relaunch

Burgers on 15:56 - Nov 27 with 1561 views | Lanhoop | There's a Wendy's in Uxbridge town centre. From the burger chains, I like GBK. The Taxi Driver does the biz for me. On the more upmarket side, a trip to Hush in Holborn for their Steak Canadien burger is recommended.

Burgers on 16:31 - Nov 27 with 1485 views | R_from_afar | I don't have burgers often but recently, on a night out with my mates, I was persuaded to go to a KFC. I kid you not, I thought the chicken burger I had was genuinely decent 👌
| "Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1." |

Burgers on 16:37 - Nov 27 with 1466 views | slmrstid | I've been there, was a good burger. I don't drink so the beer bit is wasted on me but burger is recommended.
Burgers on 16:42 - Nov 27 with 1437 views | Hayesender | Not burgers, but I used to eat the hotdogs from the dodgy vendors up london if I was ever worse for wear back in the day. I reckon I must be immune to anything

Burgers on 16:45 - Nov 27 with 1425 views | BklynRanger | I've always enjoyed a kebab shop quarter pounder with chilli sauce on it. Simple but effective. Bap must be toasted. Most other burgers I just cook at home these days - Waitrose has got some venison burgers which are delicious and, apparently, quite healthy!
Burgers on 16:49 - Nov 27 with 1408 views | CiderwithRsie | Starting to feel like a right yokel, since absolutely none of these options (not even Burger King) functions in my town, though there is one (and even a 5 Guys apparently) in Gloucester if I'm willing to drive half an hour (and spend another quarter of an hour either looking for a parking space, or walking from wherever I have parked to get to the actual burger bar.) Most people round here are, however, no longer frightened of electricity and incidents involving Wicker Men are relatively rare. Though some say that's due to the lack of virgins.
Burgers on 17:07 - Nov 27 with 1342 views | RangersDave | Now that looks good. A few years ago, me and tother half were on our way to Kenya for a holiday, and travelled to London From ooooop north to show her some of the sights in Leicester Square as she'd never been. Hungry, we walked into a place with an out door seating area, and ordered 2 burgers and fries, a gin for her, and a Brasilian beer for me. very nice it all was, except the bill was £59.75 ........ then i realise i'd walked into Marco Pierre Whites place by accident. Food was scrummy though.

Burgers on 18:55 - Nov 27 with 1179 views | Hooping_Mad | Burger King do movie tie in burgers and a few years back Batman the dark night had a tie in and I think it was called the "Dark Whopper" quite liked that one. Little place off the back of Blackrock beach in Cornwall did good fare, local beef, in house handmade burgers real cheese, lettuce that looked edible. Can't confirm if brioche was in use though.

Burgers on 07:04 - Nov 28 with 959 views | Tonto | Always partial to Byron, but they have seriously reduced the number of outlets after over expanding. Went to their Coventry garden restaurant a few months back and they still taste great although thw size of the burger had seemed to reduce in size. Am trying the Gordon Ramsey street burger next week. Will.report back.
