Someone else on here was commenting the fact that by Leicester sacking Cooper they could now go and get first choice manager availability while we get closer and closer to Championship mediocrity, which we will do when we go down

Of course why would we want a manager who may make us a better team and create chances and get points What’s wrong with playing keep ball and losing every week?

Tbf, did we not lose the stats game on Sunday? Though we did score more goals than in any othe league game this season other than Leicester so that must be a positive

Leicester have got their timing right. They are spoiled for choice. It's a buyer's market at the moment as there are so many good managers available right now.
We, of course, will get our timing completely wrong. It will be more difficult to get a good one in January and a hell of a lot more difficult in the summer.
We aren't going to be looking for a new manager now or in January as Sports Republic have their man. Pep could be available tomorrow and this lot would say, no thanks. The only time I can see SR having a wobble will be season ticket renewal time if a sufficient number of people say, I'm not watching that sh1t anymore.

If fans at most other clubs want to get rid of a manager, they get rid of him sharpish by turning up at every game, home and away, demanding his sacking, as we saw at St Mary's when Newcastle fans wanted to get rid of Pardew. I haven't seen any such protests from Saints fans at St Mary's; just talk of some fans not bothering to turn up for games. Newcastle sold out every game when they wanted rid of Pardew and they made their feelings very clear when they were inside the stadium.
I think back to when Saints fans did that pretty much every game at the Dell for Branfoot followed by sit ins after games and car park protests. We did used to do it, and we were ignored back then until people voted with their feet.

It’s a difficult one for some because Martin was at the helm when we got promoted on what was a great day for the club. The trouble is that the club has given him a 3 year contract which was ridiculous as the Premiership is much more difficult proposition. Personally I have always had my doubts about Martin but had to eat my words when we got promoted, but our games this season have gone so wrong on so many fronts and Martin refuses to change the way we play leaves me with conclusion he has to go now. I had a season ticket for the first few seasons and for various reasons I had to give up, now I go as and when I can but I don’t want to watch us carry on the way we are,so until they change the management I will find other things to do on matchdays.

Leicester choose Ruud van Nistelrooy on 20:46 - Nov 27 with 955 views
I am not sure that Ruud Van Nistelroy is a better bet than Graham Potter, one full season as a manager in Dutch football and a few games as caretaker at Old Trafford is hardly a good track record

Last night's win was Ruud's 20th consecutive match undefeated as a manager (17 wins, 3 draws). That seems like a reasonable track record to me. Of course, he has to lose sometime, but I'd have loved to see him become our manager.
