I was at that first game away to Oldham and we dominated but they fluked it 2-1. I remeber thinking even on the way back to the bus we might win the league. Wonderful stuff

Was there too and thought exactly the same, but watching those clips you can see how in general opposition defences have improved. I know they were lower league teams we were playing then but these days we would have been closed down long before we'd got a shot away, maybe thats the biggest change in the game in the last 20 yrs.
