I thought Grimes was ok today, there were far worse on the field.
Some will say we did well today but I can’t agree with that. Very disappointing the way we approached it. Some players are just not up to it and others not fulfilling their potential. Leeds were much better but that’s no mystery. We go again Wednesday with renewed vigour I hope. | |

I appreciate what you’re saying but it’s a results business and we could, no should have got something out of the game by changing our approach to see the game out. An entertaining game overall. As a rule we moved the ball well and with some decent tempo against one of the better sides in the division. Whilst it would be something of a stretch to say we deserved to win, a point would not have flattered us.
Alas we were undone by some untypically naive defending. Leeds have in abundance something we sorely lack in pure, natural pace, and we went to sleep a few too many times against a player like Dan James.
Disappointed, but not massively so. Play like that against most other teams in the division and we won't go far wrong. | |
