I watched Union Berlin v Koln a few years ago.
€15 for a ticket and transport to and from the stadium.
A curry wurst and gluhein was €5 in the ground.

Unfortunately Swansea City runs at a £10 million a year loss. Letting people in free will increase it to £20 Million.
Swansea has one of the cheapest average season ticket prices in the Championship, (18th out of 24) at £345 which is £15 per match
Sheffield Wednesday is £595 the most expensive at £25 per Match | |

I didn't say free entry and I didn't mention season tickets, which I pay for several and not complaining, I am talking about match day tickets. We need to get crowds back and match day ticket promotions are the quickest way.
Incidentally if we were letting people in for free we would not lose an extra £10M a year because we do not take that on ticket sales in a season. Plus there is the match day spend to build into any figures. | | | |

Swansea city already have discounted match day tickets . They range from full price £34 to £27 for less attractive marches.
They also offer kids for £1 and also bring a friend for £5.
Not sure how much more discount they can offer. | |

That is the problem, you just cannot rely on a parochial investment. It has to be creative and planned. It has to come with expectation throughout our country.
Fact : TV market, in the premier league the Swans had more people watching them for two seasons than any other club in the south west and Wales. We did nothing to bank in on that fact.
Other than take over large parts of east wales with young supporters. But what have we done about that since ? | |
