Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role 14:30 - Nov 14 with 10505 views | Landore_Jack | Sources across the pond have indicated to WalesOnline that American property tycoon Tyler Morse could well be among them. Morse, the founder of MCR Hotels, already holds a small shareholding in the club, and his stake is set to be increased as part of the new takeover. The exact value of his potential share isn't yet known, but one source has told WalesOnline that he is expected to take a more hands-on role, and could even be handed a position on the board of directors. The hotelier recently made headlines for striking a £275m deal to buy the BT Tower in London, which he plans to turn into an 'iconic hotel'. His current portfolio consists around 150 hotels around the world, an estimated worth of £3.9 billion. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/state-play-swansea-ci

Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 00:37 - Nov 24 with 1447 views | sons_of_omri | They might very well be numbered , most managers don’t get long service awards. I suppose it all boils down to how much faith Coleman has in him. The previous owners didn’t give two hoots how things went - I’ve a feeling out of our new backers both Morris and Morse look to be real fans - like us but with the power to change things we ordinary fans don’t. If they back him and still see a lack of direction in our play, passing aimlessly at the back and mid table mediocrity do you really think they’re going to say “ you’re doing a fine job Luke carry on mate”? That’s football - for Gods sake we sacked Laudrup in the middle of an European campaign after just winning our only piece of silverware! Get real man
Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 05:53 - Nov 24 with 1398 views | jack247 | Again, that’s totally different to saying you think his days here are definitely numbered. I agree with the general sentiment of that. Of course he’s not guaranteed a job unconditionally. Can’t go along with ‘aimlessly passing around the back’ though. We very rarely do that. Yes Russell Martin did it, but people have to get to grips with them being different managers who don’t play the same football. We play out from the back, but we look to get it to at least the halfway line quickly and invariably manage that. Where we struggle is breaking defences down in the final third. This is where Williams needs some help with players. If and when he gets creativity and a fit for purpose striker, that’s when I completely agree with you, he should be cut less slack and judged accordingly. Mid table with the current squad isn’t mediocrity, it’s an achievement. When we’ve got a competitive squad, it’s on him to move us up the table.
Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 10:32 - Nov 24 with 1275 views | sons_of_omri | You don't seem to understand - the problem is definitely NOT our front 4 - it’s the time the ball takes to get from defence to attack . One midfielder in particular continually slows the ball to them giving away any advantage and so making it very difficult for them to get in behind the full back thus creating chances. You can’t blame strikers when they are starved of service. They need chances to convert. FWIW I do think his days are numbered - new regimes often have different ideas to the old. If he was pulling up trees it wouldn’t be an issue but going 6 games without scoring is going to shine the spotlight on the manager. Perhaps things will be different from now on we didn’t deserve to get beaten at Burnley and played better the previous two games so maybe not. They’ll give him a chance I have no doubt.
Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 10:41 - Nov 24 with 1260 views | vetchonian | but is it a new regime totally....Coleman continues but without the restrictions of Jase and Steve. He openly talks if playing the Swansea Way .....which has of late been perceived as a possession based game. The way some talk you would swear we do not create scoring opportunities.... of late we are creating many but seem unable to convert them. I agree we are at times ponderous in our attack but who would you replace the midfielder whi isnoften the cause with?

Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 10:58 - Nov 24 with 1229 views | jack247 | Burnley - 9 shots 4 on target Watford - 12 shots 3 on target Oxford - 16 shots 5 on target Milwall - 17 shots 5 on target Sheffield Wednesday 9 shots 1 on target In all of the last 5 bar Burnley, who I think most agree are one of the best teams in the league, we have had more shots (i.e. created more chances) than the opposition. Watford, Oxford and Milwall didn’t come close to us. I don’t expect it to be like that today against Piroe, Rodon and co, but I do against Derby and Portsmouth. He’s tightened us up and the back to the extent only Burnley, Leeds and Sheffield United have conceded less than us. We’re regularly creating more chances than our opponents, accepting that won’t be the case when we are playing recent PL teams with big budgets. We’re just not converting enough of them at the moment.
Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 11:12 - Nov 24 with 1199 views | Dr_Winston | Our front three was made to look worse than it is during that period, that's for sure. When you attack with the pace we do, with the lack of creativity at the tip of your midfield that we have, your forwards are going to struggle. By luck or judgement in the last few games we seem to have found a setup that works a little better. Hopefully LW will have learned from that and not be tempted to repeat the same mistakes of October when Cooper is fit again.

Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 17:58 - Nov 24 with 968 views | Whiterockin | An interesting point prior to the game today. The stadium announcer said that this is a new beginning for our club or words to that effect. Then there was a two minute segway of Queens I want to break free and George Michael's Freedom. Make of that what you will, but to me it told a thousand words about the feeling within the club.
Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 18:10 - Nov 24 with 929 views | onehunglow | It’s because there just might be a better coach available for us . Yiu know, one who can ensure we do the basics right We lost today because we didn’t It’s very disappointing Fine words don’t help

Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 18:42 - Nov 24 with 862 views | magicdaps10 | Because people need their opinion/views to be right and will hit every angle to try and justify it.......doing so on a thread that started with nothing to do with their view/opinion. It's like poison, pour it enough time and it takes over....seen it so many times on these forums and stands out like a sore thumb for me now.

Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 18:50 - Nov 24 with 853 views | onehunglow | Wrong Not all This forum is about exchanging views What does stand out are fans looking out for certain other ones to continue their line of posting . Are we suggesting that only Luke Williams can move us on and that a change is simply out of the question. A few points, Few coaches would bring off a young warrior like Franco when there is still life in his belly . When players are replaced by Abdulai ,it becomes bizarre . That’s why Williams is NOT the messiah

Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 18:55 - Nov 24 with 847 views | QJumpingJack | trying to get the thread back on topic. Was Tyler at the game today? Was Millwall away in 2023 the last time our previous owners had attended a game in person?
Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 19:11 - Nov 24 with 825 views | Dr_Winston | That's twice you've claimed that Abdulai replaced Franco. Problem is Abdulai came on nearly ten minutes after Franco went off. Abdulai replaced Ronald. Had Abdulai replaced Franco that might have made more sense, what with them both being midfielders.

Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 19:28 - Nov 24 with 807 views | magicdaps10 | I don't think people are claiming Williams as a messiah except the ones who are not a fan of his.......using it as a made up phrase to ones who are not against him being replaced. As stated, I have highlighted my views why the original thread has been hijacked and getting back on subject rather than posters peddling their agenda to try and justify them being correct is the route this thread needs to go.

Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 22:35 - Nov 25 with 530 views | johnlangy | A rather different take on the more prominent role Tyler Morse might take. He runs the third largest hotel chain in America and has already branched out into the UK with buying the BT Tower as the OP says. It is known that there is a shortage of hotel rooms in Swansea and at one time there was talk of a hotel being built on the land behind the South Stand. If that was to happen how might it benefit the Club ?

Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 12:36 - Nov 26 with 374 views | johnlangy | From what I remember the idea about the possibility of a hotel being built on the land behind the South stand was linked to stadium expansion plans. Does anyone else remember this ?
Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 12:45 - Nov 26 with 351 views | jack247 | Would a hotel there work? I can see the logic in a premier inn or something, but Morses portfolio seem to be high end, expensive hotels in prime locations. I know nothing about the industry, but can’t see the demand for that in Landore
Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 12:49 - Nov 26 with 335 views | Whiterockin | I would imagine it would pretty much rule out any future expansion of the South. The East is ruled out because of the river, so it would just leave the West and North so no wrap around.
Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role on 14:05 - Nov 26 with 264 views | onehunglow | Wrong Read it again Would you agree Abdulai weakens the team being deployed as he is .? Thanks Would you agree that subbing Franco at most/ every game is rather odd
