Enough 12:09 - Nov 10 with 8129 views | dixiefrog | It pains me to say this, but despite supporting and attending Saints games my entire life, I have had enough. For me I feel it’s time to make a stand and do something with the SR Board will listen to, they seem impervious to anything the fans say and are plainly not listening. So words haven’t worked, maybe action will. To all the Uglies and Saints fans I call for a boycott of the Liverpool game, maybe a few thousand empty seats will show the Board that we’ve stomached the current coaching team enough and it’s time for a change. Now I don’t expect them to listen, but assuming they don’t I’ll not go to the one after or any until the Board acts. Despite the debacle on the pitch I still don’t think it’s too late for us to get ourselves out of the sh1t, we do however need a proven manager who will steady the ship and have us prepared for whichever league we end up in next year. So unless the Board see sense and remove the current coaching staff before the Liverpool game, then demonstrate your belief in the club and stay home.

Like to hear from any season ticket holders what their plans are and also Nick, at the moment your silence is deafening.

Enough on 09:28 - Nov 18 with 813 views | dixiefrog | So one week to go before the Liverpool game and the boycott is growing momentum (albeit slowly). Interesting chat with a work colleague whose a season ticket holder for Pompey, he reckons we won’t make a dent on numbers and would be amazed if we hit a 10% reduction, this as we talk a lot but at the end of the day do “feck all”.

Enough on 12:50 - Nov 18 with 701 views | dixiefrog | I agree with your thoughts but the boycott has always been about the league game. It’s not about saving time or money but sending a message to the SR Board. Like you I don’t think that SR care that much about the cup game, the league however is a much bigger draw and will attract the press, media, past players and tv people. Rows and rows of empty seats for such a big game (which we’re bound to lose) might just embarrass SR into finally making a decision and getting rid of this lame duck manager.

Enough on 13:29 - Nov 18 with 666 views | SaintNick | My silence is deafening because I havent heard anything about a boycott for either game, nor have i spoken to anyone who has mentioned it. The nearest is people moaning about the price of the cup game and saying they won't go. So if there is a boycott for Sunday's game it hasn't been much publicity about it nor any momentum, I have just googled and looked around the internet and can't see much. If people are moaning about paying £30 to see the cup game, it is going to be a hard task asking them to not attend a game that they have already paid for in a season ticket between £27- £50 ish for.

Enough on 13:42 - Nov 18 with 649 views | TripleNiemi | No, only if they return their tickets back to the club for potential sell on / reimbursements. If they refrain from going and retain ticket should be empty seat [Post edited 18 Nov 13:43]

Enough on 19:01 - Nov 18 with 477 views | dixiefrog | Nick thanks for your thoughts, the boycott won’t appear on social media as it’s being driven by the fans themselves, 1 talking becomes 2, 4, 8 etc. I’m surprised that you’ve not come across this initiative, but maybe you circulate at a different level to everyone else. The fans seem to have had enough of SR, inaction by the Board, RM’s strategy and a general lack of information coming from the club. Many have supported the club for decades and feel action is now needed to vent their frustration. Many will still go on Sunday and then moan like buggery when we get a pasteing, I won’t be going.
