Starting the long journey to the European capital of football and wanted a positive thread to keep the spirits up. For me discodroid always entertains. Fantastic way with words.
Dorse always good value. Hunter for his certainty and not sure who it was but there was a poster who described what must have been epic QPR fictional battles of the 70''s and 80's. Your thoughts?

DaveB

He pretty much sums up exactly how I feel most weeks supporting this basket case of a Club.

Hoops and Dreams is a great show

Shouts to Clive also but that goes without saying really.

Poll: Do you think this current QPR team has got what is takes to go up this year?

DaveB - seconded. Voice of reason and calmess from the family stand. Reading his posts when I am in full rant mode gives me perspective.

Is is the same DaveB that used to post years ago on the old dot org in the very early internet days in the nineties?

Tbh, and maybe it's autistic, I'm the opposite of 'ad hominem' when it comes to this board, unlike others who clearly conduct scapegoating witch hunts when they've decided someone is this or that kind of person on the basis of knowing nothing about them. I only really look at the posts, not the posters, and respond to those, so I don't really care or mostly even remember who's writing what, though I tend to read Clive's stuff a bit more carefully just because he's entertaining and puts the effort in.

Poll: What points will we get from our 'Festive 3' (Swansea A, Norwich A, Watford H)?

You’re on the wrong thread mate - it says positive thread

Absolutely this. Never completely judge anyone by how they come across posting online or by email.

Judge them across the table over a pint.

A lot of misunderstandings during online banter.

Dave B is QPR through and through .I also watch their excellent preview shows and its normally James spitting fire and Dave nice and calm but thisweek its reversed.
The Boro game broke his resolve I think and this fixture today following right away is too much for most of us .
We needed the break to start wednesday morning .

I now need to add Padula's shampoo for eviscerating the club. Very good analysis.

It depends. I tend to enjoy the ones that make me laugh whether that's intentionally or otherwise.

XTC's posts at 11 past midnight on Saturday morning after the Friday night before, are definitely on the mark.

There's a few that go off on a million tangents and the way they write is totally weird but hilarious and fab at same time. Discodroids, Dorse.come to mind.

Danny Paddox and Connell say it as it is.

But can't really single people out above others, because most offer something and am just pleased to be on here offering my own words of non wisdom and enjoy being a part of great online space.

Clearly most of that is down to Clive and how well managed it is here, so that all can have their say and its not micro managed like many online platforms can be.

As a general rule, if I find myself on the opposite side of a debate from Brian McC, I go back and check my working to see where I've gone wrong.

You risk turning this into a McCarthyite witch hunt outing the Brianies who lurk among us.

Brian's always worth reading. Such a shame his team's a feckin' mess; he deserves better.

Thanks for the kind words and yes that was me on the old dotorg back in the 90s and 2000's and Middlesbrough did break me this week, I'm very worn down by the club at the moment

So many great posters on here, Brian, Hunterhooop, Clive, Antti and Simmo stand out but too many to mention even the ones I don't agree with its always worth hearing an alternative opinion
