MC has got to go 21:59 - Nov 5 with 68619 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Sorry, but that has done it for me. You don't put a right footed player, you don't trust, at left back, yet leave your left footed defender at right back. Fcking stupid. A shapeless, gutless performance. Players walking, not challenging, arguing with each other. No shape, no desire. Something has to happen and fast as we have relegation written all over us. ***having had a good night's sleep, I don't want MC sacked, I just can't sit through this anymore. I actually hate this club at the moment.*** [Post edited 6 Nov 2024 6:38]

MC has got to go on 10:01 - Nov 6 with 3121 views | terryb | I've not read through the thread yet, but "leave your left footed defender at right back"? Dunne is very much right footed & only played on the left side of the defence as Dickie was even worse with his left!
MC has got to go on 10:02 - Nov 6 with 3120 views | qprninja | Time for the owners to sell up and go. All they have ever consistently done is waste their own money and run the football club VERY badly. Marti is a good manager, and they've managed to make his job difficult.
MC has got to go on 10:10 - Nov 6 with 3056 views | NorthantsHoop | I sometimes go to Northampton Town games had vision near end of 2022/2023 season when Ainsworth was struggling with our lot of sitting in the away end at Sixfields watching my beloved QPR and getting pelters from my Northampton mates. It is looking increasingly likely we will be playing Northampton next season, watching it from the upper loft last night, we looked a right load of old cobblers.

MC has got to go on 10:39 - Nov 6 with 2845 views | terryb | Should MC go? A very definite NO! However, I've struggled most of this season to understand his substitutions & feel that at present he is failing to impact matches. I'm sure that nearly all of us last night could see that Santos was being taken apart & needed help. I would also sugest that Saito was the only possible player that would provide this, but he was kept on the right where he is less effective. Only being able to use three subs against Sunderland is another indication of not controlling the changes. The present situation at left back is very worrying as Saito looks the only option to play there, but as a left wing back. Hopefully, Morrison is now available to take a place in a back three (this would be asking a lot of him). What I'm certain of though, is that nothing will permanently change while we have the same ownership.
MC has got to go on 10:48 - Nov 6 with 2771 views | Lblock | I've come to the conclusion that Marti is waiting for either sacking and a nice bit of compo or there's stacked payments and once he's got one of those it'll be "mutual consent". I've consistently said he's a novice Championship manager learning on the job but was doing that really, really well. Now we've added a load of novice players just to make his life harder. No idea who takes over on 11 November but it may very well be Nourry himself. I'd stick with Marti through thin and thinner but that'll never happen at our circus despite the child CEO being on the record of saying that's what we'll do.

MC has got to go on 10:54 - Nov 6 with 2720 views | PhilmyRs | It's clear to everyone there are major problems with the Team. As a MC fan and someone that really wants him to succeed and remain Manager for many years to come, I have to admit he's made mistakes, Santos left back with Field alongside in the back 4 and a half arsed Chair providing wing cover was a recipe for disaster and that is on the Manager. But do you think the odd tactical error like that is why we're in this mess? Surely, when you spend the money we have this summer and you end up with a right back at left back, an 18 year old academy boy in centre mid and your most hardworking centre mid playing centre half, something has gone seriously wrong. Throw in the increased injuries this season, and I'm not sure there's a Manager that can get us out of this hole but the one I'd trust most to do it, as he's managed it before, is the one still in charge. Celar and Frey. How can people look at that as our striking options and be anything other than disgusted. We've just survived relegation and we're going into the new season with 2 strikers, both unproven at this level. Now for the slightly controversial bit, but I think all our new signings, with the exception of Santos, and possibly Celar (I'm one that still thinks he could be a good striker played in a different setup), look like they have something to offer if part of the right team, and style of play etc. But a club as disjointed as us, and with so many new toys that aren't used to the Championship, with injuries biting and confidence at a very low level, they look even worse than they actually are. A Manager that is trying to piece a team together without the quality of JCS, the experience and ability of Jack Colback, the on his day ability of Paal, the natural ability of Dembele, is going to struggle massively. Throw in the one physical striker we have also being injured and I'm not sure what people expect MC to get out of this team. That's all on the recruitment. [Post edited 6 Nov 2024 10:55]

MC has got to go on 11:52 - Nov 6 with 2535 views | lassel | He’ll be gone soon enough, don’t worry. As a fanbase though we really need to stick together so that we can hound out the next guy up as well.
MC has got to go on 11:55 - Nov 6 with 2510 views | Hunterhoop | We need to unite and hound out the CEO, or at the very least force him to become collobarative and open with the fanbase, on both non-playing and playing matters.
MC has got to go on 12:01 - Nov 6 with 2457 views | TheChef | But annoyingly Nourry strikes me as the kind of sociopathic narcissist who will love all that attention...

MC has got to go on 13:06 - Nov 6 with 2195 views | Hunterhoop | I’d be open to Saito at Left Back. Or Field whilst Paal, Fox, and Ashby are all out. But that needs one of Morrison and JCS to be fit. Of course, if Saito plays at LB and Chair is injured, who plays wide left? A bad squad with lots of injuries.
MC has got to go on 13:09 - Nov 6 with 2164 views | Northernr | At least Saito puts it about a bit bless him.
MC has got to go on 13:15 - Nov 6 with 2121 views | BklynRanger | I noticed Ayling moved over to the left in the second half. Don't know how much that was about Saito's presence but Ayling seemed to be the focus of everything, playing at RB in the first half. Just camped there putting pressure down our left side. Agree with the couple of comments that Santos needed more support. Apart from all that I think we need to be vocal about keeping Marti, and if it's a choice, chucking out Nourry.
MC has got to go on 13:17 - Nov 6 with 2116 views | Blue_Castello | Agreed it would be very interesting to find out who made the decision to loan Larkeche to Dundee whilst bringing in two supposed right backs and in the process blocking our move for Hayden, answers on a postcard.....

MC has got to go on 13:26 - Nov 6 with 2061 views | ngbqpr | A lot of talk about how Marti "looks fed up", "can't have been involved in the signings", is "giving messages to the board with his subs bench" etc etc Yet he and Calm signed contract extensions only a few weeks ago. Are we really in such cynical times as to think they solely did that to ensure a higher pay out when it goes to $hit? Do they really have no belief in the (ahem) "project"? Just my rhetorical questions / idle pondering tbh...

MC has got to go on 13:37 - Nov 6 with 1992 views | Rangersw12 | It might have been announced a couple of weeks ago but we don't know when they actually signed it .
MC has got to go on 13:39 - Nov 6 with 1960 views | Northernr | 1 - I'd put everything I've got on those contracts being signed a long time before they got round to telling us plebs they'd done it. 2 - If somebody says "would you like some more money when we sack you" you say YES.
MC has got to go on 13:47 - Nov 6 with 1883 views | Damo1962 | Football is one of the most cynical environments there is sadly - so nothing would surprise me anymore. The CEO, the head coach and his vast army of helpers, the players all get something out of this "project". The only ones who don't get anything are the supporters...especially those who pay to go and watch it.
