Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread 00:08 - Oct 24 with 11633 viewsModeratorC

The last game at the Swansea.Com at the end of last season was a bit feisty. This time let’s concentrate on the bleeding obvious.

Pathetic.

We were toothless.

We were playing against 12 men, actually 13 if you count LW.

Shambles.

Worst goal drought for the Swans since 1996.

How many goals of that type have we conceded this year. Similar to the one Cardiff scored.

We however can’t get close to chances like that and quite honestly we’d scuff the shot anyway.

Hard to take
Beaten by thugs ,dubious referee and a totally inept “ coach”
We are in doodoo
And yes,he has to go.
This wasn’t down to the owners .
This was players badly coached led by an excreable captain.
Grimes again the centre of it all,the possession ,the sideways passing, the walking football.
Franco,in comparison is on another planet l
Grimes is the one the new coach should be looking to offload

The drop is what we are facing . It’s about survival

LW will get all the pelters he deserves this week. However, our owner, recruitment team and players are as much of the problem as he is.
We have a paper thin squad full of players below the standard that is needed for this division. Change the manager as much as we like, but with these players and our standard of recruitment, we are going one way!
No passion, no skills, no ideas.

Owners are dummies ,true.
However that today shows why we are so poor.
We are talking about players terrified to shoot at goal,a captain walking when his team is drawing against a dire team .
Dear God.
That is enough

sorry onehunglow but i diss agree TOTALY to blame by not investing championship valued fees for this div, reducing the wage cap therefore not able to get players that could improve what we are ,not renewing contracts, and yes the manager must carry the can as well but when you shop in lidels you get lidel value
I respect your opinion and to a point i agree but these people in D C dont give a toss about SWansea fc when people like you and MANY others do

Good post Pete.
No probs with that
Owners ARE responsible overall. They chose Williams who is overseeing all this
Imagine being Franco and putting in a shift like that only to be subbed again whilst his skipper walks around the field
Amazingly ,people love Matty. Well, some . Looking at PS,many aren’t keen ,like me

We need a change

If we don’t Wrexham will pass us .
It’s an awful thought

They literally bored our squad into a false sense of security and took advantage when Swansea switched off
The most embarrassing part of this is that the worst team i have ever seen down here just beat us 1-0
If the club sack Luke over this then i am calling time on Swansea City, the board should sack themselves, Luke is NOT the problem

Peart-Harris doesn’t possess the tools to play for Swansea City.

Why do we switch off
Who is that down to?
It ain’t the owners who are thousands of minds away in body and millions away in spirit
It is an all round crap show

Awful first half, such poor quality.
Better second half, a number of chances squandered again, why take Franco off? He was man of the match..very frustrating.

Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 18:13 - Oct 26 with 1045 viewsonehunglow

Why indeed
Read my thread on contrasting players
Franco was outstanding . An object lesson in how to play, a template for midfielders . Yet. He is subbed most if not every game . He should be the last to be subbed
Today, even having had a real crack from these Millwall arsewiopes ,he still carried on for the cause . A fantastic lad we should treasure . He doesn’t stop running . He doesn’t stop working . He should be the most loved player .

Oxford away is probably one of the worst fixtures we could have next.
There needs to be a massive improvement quickly.

LW seems to panic and makes rash decisions in the heat of the moment it seems, left us without a striker for over 15 minutes at 0-0.

We're on a downward spiral and someone at the club needs to get a frigging grip.

Swansea City v Millwall : Match day thread on 18:39 - Oct 26 with 895 viewspembsjack

Bang on! The board and owners have put the club in this mess. If people think the easy answer is to get rid of LW, they are mistaken. Remember several managers turned us down, word is out, we are ran by an inept group of business people with very little idea about football.

Absolutely, He has already turned us around to not losing at home all season until today, that alone must have taken a monumental effort, they need to back him January with 2/3 more quality players and we will be just fine
Luke is NOT the problem
Our board are clueless
