I think our train gets in before the pubs open 😩

Can't remember us ever taking more than 2000 to Derby for years if at all so a very good turnout

Which is a bad omen in itself. Whenever we take a big away following, the team seems to do its level best to bring us down.

Haven't been there since the 5-1 Bowles hat trick. Mighty shenanigans before the game. Can't make this Saturday, hope for a similar result.

As often mentioned, one of our greatest ever away days and one of the few times I ever wore a scarf, white silk with blue trim

Our two sons are doing their first joint away day. 11.02 out of St Pancras. If we win I'll buy them tickets for the Burnley match.

Same as. On the 09.02 which by my reckoning leaves us tapping gently on the pub door with longing faces

I hope everyone's faith turns out justified. This club has fantastic fans that doesn't deserve its recent teams.

The last time I went to Derby was back in 1990-the Baseball Ground- and Rangers were on an 8 game losing streak.
Two days before Christmas, a Sunday, and an early kick off.
St Pancras all but deserted apart from the travelling Rangers fans.
Roy Wegerle put the R's 1 up in the first half-his shot crashing down off the bar and adjudged to have crossed the line -which it did.
With the 90 minutes up it looked like our first 3 point haul since beating Leeds away (where Roy scored "that" goal).
Alas deep into injury time a scramble in the R's penalty box and Dean Saunders didn't miss from close range.
GUTTED.

I was at that one, Bobby Gould had the players out early doing a training session, first time I’d seen it,all teams do it know, shows how advanced he was, was also peacock and Tilsons debuts, last time went to Derby so looking forward to my trip tomorrow.

You can always try the various fb sites to see if there are any spares either today or tomorrow morning. There are bound to be spares if we’ve sold over 2000 tickets.

It seems the worse the team plays the more the fans turn out. Bloody marvellous and the team really need to repay that.

Only been to Derby once, in our Championship winning season, when we scored twice (Agyemang & Mackie) in injury time to draw the game 2-2 after we were 2-0 down. There have been quite a few last minute goals in recent years that we've scored to win games (Wembley, Pride Park, Loftus Road) and they must really hate us for that lol!

Your travel plans remind me of a trip to the old Baseball ground back in the Trevor Francis era. My mate was late getting to St Pancras and we missed the train to Derby so ended up getting a train to Nottingham and getting a cab to Derby.

As we got to the ground we were jumped by a few Derby looking for stragglers and after a bit of non-Queensbury rules street fighting managed to get to the turnstiles after kick off and as we got through Clever Trevor stuck the ball in the net. Heard the roar but did not see the goal. The rest of the game was pony. 1 - nil away win, but still a good day out.
